Sunday night dining in the rear garden! A great unique setting with lovely food and the waiting staff were very good. Would definitely recommend to others.

Top marks for great service and food. Very friendly and not hurried service. The breakfast we had was delicious and as we came before the main crowd we had a lovely spot by the window. Thanks to all the staff, including the backroom staff.

Every time we come to the Garden shed its a great experience. From dining with a few friends to booking out a table for 20 people, they have us covered.
The best kumara fries and delicious Bloody Marys. Love the food, the space and the staff.

Our group's coffees took half an hour to come out on a fairly slow Sunday morning; the staff members were kind but the service was slow and pretty poor; the food was average (chips were good)

Nice waitress but when we came to pay there was no information about what we had ordered. Eventually sorted.

This restaurant has a lot of character and is a very pleasant place to have a meal. The staff are friendly and attentive. I ordered a wild boar hot dog for lunch. It was very well presented but disappointing that the sausage was the highly processed variety rather than an artisan meat product that the term 'wild boar' brings to mind.

We visited this place for the first time. Amazing ambience gives you feeling of enjoying your food in garden with beautiful plants around. Good service and thanks to Molly for her quick service and recommending us dessert! Will definitely visit again!

Came w my workmates a couple of weeks back. Had a decent meal but my workmate choked on the steak and nearly died lol had to call the ambulance. No lies.

Came here after hearing good things about this place. We didn't book so there was a lot of people and we had to sit outside which we understood. However as we sat, we saw a vacant table inside so I went to ask a staff to see if we could switch inside as the tables outside are not that nice and is wobbly. The staff quickly dismissed us and said no as "all tables inside was reserved". Few minutes later I went and ask again and looks like the owner was the whom I spoke to this time. He was very good, definitely made the experience from bad to good. He said we could and then the same guy came and said ok "we can move you in". Honestly if it weren't for the owner I would have given this place bad review before even trying the food.
So after being sat inside, it was way more comfortable, we start to order. We decided to order more now than what we initially was going to order outside as outside was just way too uncomfortable, they need to fix the stools and tables outside as it is too high and unstable.
So we got the breakfast board and their burger. Both of these was excellently cooked, the burger was juicy and the fries was nice and the right crisp level. The breakfast board was also good, chorizo was nice and the rosti was good. Overall they do quite decent food here.
Definitely will come back and will book beforehand, and if there aren't any tables inside, I would then go somewhere else. The ambiance inside is nice and cosy.

Loved the ambience but this time my favourite dish, the pumpkin and cheese arincinni was overpowered by the cheese, Not a balanced dish this time

Beautiful location and ambience but missed the mark unfortunately with brunch service. Meals were cold and coffee tasted burnt and when issue raised with staff we got a very interesting response. Overall disappointing for Mt Eden.

Lovely place with great garden and deco! There are a few vegan options. The staff is very patient to explain the menu items and help with our dietary requirements. The veggie patch salad I had was nice, but far from being substantial. I didn't feel full after spending $24. It would be nice to make this dish more rich somehow.

Great location! Very nice patio out back with good lighting. Food and drinks were good as well and the server we had was friendly and helpful

Very photogenic and quirky restaurant. Staff are very pleasant, helpful and efficient. Food was nice but not the wow factor with the mains for the price. Mocha dessert was very good. Good range of quality beers and wines.

Favourite dishes were the arancini and s’mores. Great take on the s’mores with the thicker homemade biscuit bursting with flavours and the super soft marshmallows. Lovely service with friendly staff making you feel at home in this local restaurant.

Very good brunch food, wait staff were kind and thoughtful (my wife was pregnant at the time and they made sure food was appropriately prepared) They were happy to customize your meal and it was presented well. The only slight mark against them was during the meal we were asked how our food was over 3 time, it was great thanks for asking. Each time. Definitely recommend though.

Beautiful and romantic garden atmosphere. Food was delicious, probably the best apple and rhubarb pie I have ever had.

Burger was bland, but at least it was expensive. Overly burnt buns. Good location and atmosphere. Great service from friendly staff.
