The Garden Shed

Both times I’ve visited (before and after the fire) have been memorable and tasty. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, food service was quick and the food was so good I finished portions I wouldn’t usually be able to finish because it was so perfectly delicious. Great atmosphere on the back garden area and the s’mores were a fun throwback to childhood. Would recommend.

Came here for my husband's birthday dinner.
Service was great, food was good. The kids menu is great as even our child who is a picky eater came home full.

I really like the food and the vibe of this place, but the kitchen closes too early on a Friday night. Actually that's a trait of most of the places in Mt Eden Village unfortunately

Great selection of craft beer on tap, service excellent, ambience really comfortable, food very nice and great menu

Overall experience was great, good service, food was as expected, one of the meals was underwhelming but besides that would recommend.

Nice entrees and beautiful place. We went at a weird time around 3-4pm so wasn't able to order anything from the mains menu. Lovely staff and thank you for the kale seeds!

We went here yesterday for the first time and it was amazing. The staff is great and made sure we had a good experience. We had the beer tasting, a shared platter as entree and the lamb ragout and risotto (recommended by the chef). We loved it! We didn't have space for dessert - but will be back for it:)

Excellent local restaurant with great informal atmosphere that lived up to earlier reviews. We both had scallops as entree that were very good and our mains of pork belly and fillet steak were exceptional while the service was excellent. Can thoroughly recommend.
