Hannah was our waitress and made the whole experience! Great food, portions and drink selection. An amazing pub for anyone who is looking for a nice vibe with amazing food on offer. Big shout out to Hannah, she was helpful and had a great “do” attitude

Went here for a Sunday afternoon to watch the UFC (as they were advertising the UFC would be played there). We spent a fair bit of money on drinks, jugs and the roast dinners. When we arrived the sailing was on as 2 people in the venue wanted to watch that. There were numerous people who approached the bar and asked for the UFC to be put on as advertised. The staff all apologized but it was manager's instructions to show the sailing even though they had advertised UFC not sailing. At least they had WiFi so can watch UFC on your phone. Roast dinner 3/5. Shame as nice bar and we're hoping to have this as our local.

Unprofessional bouncers swore and threatened people we were with. Complete joke wouldn't recommend unless you appreciate expensive drinks and being spat at. Wish I could go negative stars

Food was average. Service great. Calamari dish tasted floury. No other flavors. So dissatisfied I went into the city to Milse to cheer me up my night. 5 stars for the service though

Went there for dinner and had 2 entree but both of them were sour, not good so hence didn’t had dinner there. Took my gf out for the first time for dinner but was not a great experience. Food was not worth what we paid.

One of my favourite pubs in the inner suburbs of Auckland. Great music, decent food and a good selection of drinks. Staff is very friendly and the whole place is cosy, even outside thanks to the electric space heaters!

Really good lunch food. The salmon bruschetta was amazing. Our waitress was slow to smile but came right by the end of our meal. Well worth a visit.

We had a function at the rooftop bar and it was awesome. Food was so good and the staff - Xanthe and Will - were amazing. Thanks so much guys!

Pretty quiet on a Saturday and no drinks are allowed outside after 11. Good food and good for a couple of lazy quiet drinks, the live music is good.

Went in on a Sunday arvo on labour weekend and ordered their roast board meal. Average! Ordered side of macaroni and cheese, quite disappointed. Absolutely bland and flavorless! Not sure if we will go back there again.

Had our wedding dinner here and Xanthe and the team just went over and beyond our expectations! Not much went to plan on our wedding day but was so nice to come to the ZooKeepers with a beautiful set up and no need to pack down anything. We didn't decorate it as it is beautiful the way it is! Can count on them to look after you. Highly recommend.

Good beer and great food! Has a garden bar upstairs out back. Great on a sunny day. Try the nachos too.

Excellent beers, great for after office and drinking with friends. Nice menu. They promote rugby matches and other sports.

Two man band on the night we went easy laid back music to suit theatmosphere, not crowded which was a bonus.

We had booked a table, but other people kept coming to our table & sitting there. The customer service was great. Prices for food a bit high priced for what you get.

Have dropped in more than a couple of times to share a beer, food and laughs. On all occasions I have not been disappointed. Friendly staff, active, ready and willing with service. Choice variety of tap beers, food is fresh, pork ribs just fall off the bone as it should, margarita pizza is tasty. Plenty of seating indoor and out, clean facilities, pool table and a few pokie machines if its your cuppa. All in all happy to recommend.

Friendly helpful staff. Excellent service and food arrived in good time. Food was delicious. Will frequent again when in Auckland.
