Vodafone Queen Street reviews
63The customer service sucks at this store. All thanks to their Manager Brad who was really aggressive with customers. WORST!
Appalling "customer service" if you can call it that. After joining a friend on a trip to the Queen Street store, we were "greeted" by Liam. A young man, in his early twenty's by the looks of it. My friend needed to get his phone charged, due to getting mugged the previous night. He was assaulted, had his wallet and some jewelry stolen. The wallet contained his key card for his unmanned apartment building. He was lucky, as his phone was missed by the assailants. The building manager needed to be contacted and a new key card made. Liam told us that because the store was under new ownership, they no longer charged phones. My friend being in a rather desperate state of mind, pleaded to Liam. But was denied. And to be honest with you that's perfectly fine. The problem was Liam's blatant "elitist" attitude. After politely being asked if the store provides battery replacement for phones, and as to the cost, Liam replied - "I do not know. Don't think so. OK, bye" This was said with such an attitude, that he might as well have flipped me the bird, while saying it.
I know that my friend really did not look 100%, and was obviously distraught. But I do have to wonder whether it was because he was unshaven. He looked rather gaunt, after spending an unknown amount of time on the ground, unconscious. He did not get a chance to change his clothes. And he was Polynesian. I hope that the last criteria was not the basis for Liam's attitude. I mean he was so brutally condescending, that I started to wonder, whether I had done something bad. By asking him a question. To do with mobile phones, which he "sells".
In conclusion. If this sort of attitude persists, then I will be rather unlikely to recommend Vodafone.
P. S. He ended up getting his phone charged at a neighboring electronics goods store. Lovely people. Also went to Spark before that, they were nice and explained, that they charge phones. But for Spark only customers. Which is a fair position to have. Everyone was polite and behaved like civilized human adults. Thank you Spark.)
We strongly suggest better training to the ground staff. We were told by customer service over the phone that we could just walk in store and get assistance. We were immediately brushed off without asking a lot of discovery questions because "we are just sales here. " Good thing for us we work in CS too, and we had to explain to the ground staff the process told to us over the phone. Annoying, since we were assured it would be in our account notes.
Your process isn't synced, Vodafone. Get your training team more time with your front facing staff.
They know technology.and so they should! But the queue to get served is way too long and takes an age to reach 'the end'. Mobile phones and their service are not cheap in New Zealand.so employ more staff, get the queue shorter and the service more efficient. Must say.yes they know their stuff.it's the queue that's my issue.
Use Spark or 2 Degrees, don't bother with the second rate service from these clowns. Flagship store that is out of stock of a flagship phone shouldn't ever happen, but they took my details twice to tell me when the phone I wanted was back in stock, and never did. When I returned they told me they'd had it and then sold out, without bothering to call me on the phone number I'd given them twice. Shocking customer service, 2 Degrees or Spark are much better alternatives.
Just called in with a quick technical question. Folk there were really on to it and sent me on my way happy!
They didn't really help with my enquire and I got giving the wrong information about my accounts.
Good service. If you're a tourist drop by here to get the travel sim easiest way to get 4g in New zealand. You might, have to sand in queue for 5 min.
Set up for the sim was fast and easy.
After viewing these comments, it makes me memorize some bad experience. Last year july, I went here and going to ask questions about broadband. That Chinese clerk with short gray hair was very impatient. And when I asked some details. His attitude become worse and didn’t tell me more. So I went back and questions about contract did not be solved. Next time I came, another young man received me and helped me to fix out the problem.
Super busy day, had to wait in cue 10 min but the assistant was 100% amazing and helpful. An amazing service and great deal for Sim cards.
Real helpful team here, set up the phone we bought while we went off to do other shopping. Great range of the latest tech too.
Service is amazing. Kristof was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Their short-term data packages for travelers are excellent!
Amazing staff! Very nice and patient! I traded up and bought iPhone here and the lady answered all my questions nicely and clearly. Very good customer service!
Good with the customer and great place to get a Vodafone and the staff are very polite and great to communicate if I would like to get the time to recharge I will be there
I was told that the download equipment was broken and that she couldn't transfer my apps because i didn't buy the phone from them bearing in mind that i am using a VODAFONE sim.
Luckily the manager agreed to do it if i come back during the week.
It all came down that it was Sunday afternoon they have had enough for the week.
If the kitchen is too hot to handle get out.
Best customer service. Very busy place but staff were professional, patient and willing to do what it takes to fix the issues. Staff from some other Vodafone store should come and see how this place operates so they can improve their standards.
The staff I found helpful and approachable too any questions you may want too ask them. Or too offer any assistance if you are wanting to buy anything from their store.
There located at midway downtown next too Vulcan lane next store Opposite Noel lemmings Auckland Cubs.
Please FIRE the bald Chinese guy with white hair. I went to tell him about a problem and he was so rude and I gently passed my phone to him and he just dropped it while passing it back without a card. FIRE HIM PLEASE
There are some good staff there but it isn't ever. So you can be helped for a cool guy or for a terrible guy. Good luck for you
You know what, no on likes their telecoms provider, but Vodafone services are actually really good. I've never had any problem with their customer service and have gotten what I wanted ever time I've called.
