We had had the worse customer experience at your whangarei branch today, we wanted to buy some new wireless headphones and a few were there to try on a rack very politely my wife asked a young sale at the counter if they had any desinfectant or wipes to wipe the inner of the headphone and frames. The young employee then told us to go and buy some at the supermarket oourself with a snarky smile and walked away.
We felt that his attitude was rude not helpfull and dismissived, my wife was nearly in tears thinking about it the way she was treated. I think our question / request was legitimate as people trying the headphones we son tbknow if they have skin issues hair issues ie parasite blood etc.anyhow noel lemming you have lost a sale of $600 today i know you may not care at all but if that was my business this type of behaviour would not be tolerated and warning should be given and appropriate training. Extremely rude customer service when I phoned through to query an insurance claim. The lady had a horrendous attitude and obnoxious tone.

The lady that i think was the floor manager? Short hair tattoos, needs a better job not dealing with public would be best. Didn't get her name unfortunately.

I recently bought a vacuum cleaner here and while i understand that staff are doing their best to provide customer service, I did find my experience here very overwhelming. Firstly there's no need to hover around customers like a hawk. If we need help, we'll ask. Secondly, we can tell when you really want to help us vs meet your KPI for sales target for the month. My entire experience felt like the staff (Melanie) wanted to take advantage of my situation here. Really didn't enjoy shopping at all and don't think I'll be coming back to this outlet in particular.

Poor customer service. My robot vacuum stopped working whilst under warranty and They would not engage with me. Finally had to get it replaced by the manufacturers. Wasn’t happy with the lack of service.

I have purchased a lot of things from Noel Leeming's over the years. After my experience today, I doubt I will ever buy anything from them again. As you walk into the store in Whangarei, there is a counter to the right, tech support etc. Over to that counter I went, as I had a problem with my Samsung flip phone. I thought it had started to crack in the crease. I asked for support and what could be done with my phone. ($1500.00 phone and under a year old) Basically, I got told they could do nothing, and they started mumbling about the consumer guarantees act.blah blah One chap sitting down started telling me all about something that meant nothing to me as he played with his beard staring blanky at the window. This just made me irate and they really couldn't care less. So I replied, Apart from what you have said about nothing, basically don't buy a Samsung phone from you then right? Luckily the 2nd person of 3 asked if I wanted to confirm this with a manager, which I happily replied yes!
The manager came out, and he deserved 5 stars, unlike his team. He inspected my phone, unlike the others, and found it was only the plastic protective covering that had cracked. I didn't even know it had one. So it was sorted, and he was very helpful. I bought a new covering from another shop and my phone is like new again. It was only the plastic covering on my phone that had cracked. But, because of the initial treatment. I won't be back.

The technical knowledge of the staff was very poor. I left without buying anything, because four staff couldn't answer a basic question with any conviction.

Really disappointed in Noel lemming. I ordered a phone for my daughter as a birthday present and it has been a month and I'm still waiting on a email to collect the phone, I have rung up twice to be told it's still in Auckland.

Bought new samsung tv and it was faulty, should have been replaced, i was told to call the number on back of tv (samsung warranty)
3 weeks later still waiting for it to be fixed. Anyone else would replace the tv

Twice went in store. Wasn't overly busy. Waited over 30 minutes to get assistance but it appears nobody wanted my business. Most likely won't go back a 3rd time.

After waiting on for 10 mins on the phone I didn’t finish asking my question before they hung up. There is no customer follow up call back no care for the customer.
Very poor service.

My first sad review! Firstly, dont try ringing this place they will put you in a foul mood with their unhelpful phone staff. I have spent over 20 grand in this store in 5 years and they couldnt find me on their computer when my dryer broke down. After a 10 min wait on the ph they got back to me with instructions to order a repair man through them but first pay 75 bucks for their man to come out and see if its a product fault or human error. What a sad system that is.p. S. [I am speaking on behalf of a destraught 80 yr old]

It's not been the first time we went there and an item of interest wasn't available. If a company advertises a special on front page of their brochure and then it's not in store there must be something majorly wrong with them. The attendent's excuse "it should arrive any day now" didn't help. We won't be back. Noel Leeming Whangarei is a waste of time.

I bought a camera for a certain price on my zip card when I picked it up i saw the same camera for 130 dollars less when I enquired about it they said because I used a zip payment they could not do anything for me and i find it is all BS i wont be shopping there again fell ripped off I'm discussed with them that's not how to do business. I have spent money in this store but i wont be again.

Have had my very expensive Dyson V11 vacuum cleaner back in store under warranty for 4 weeks now and after repeatedly phoning to see whats happening, being promised someone would call back and never being contacted, have finally been advised it had only arrived at Dyson yesterday. Not impressed at all. Back up service is rubbish especially as they don't offer a spare to use while yours is away.

Incompetent salesperson when buying a drier, swapped the price after promising they had stock and confirmed the price. Spent $10k in 2 years there but won’t be going back to any of the chain stores.
