Te Anau Top 10 Holiday Park reviews
60Lovely site with lots of room. Great wifi and clean communal areas. Even got a visit from the camp cat too. Magic. Thanks very much. Te Anau was beautiful and I would love to return.
Stayed in a cabin. Double bed and bunks for the kids. Nice and cozy. Not the flashiest place in town. But I enjoyed it and so did the kids.
Nice holiday park close to everything you need. Rooms are nice and cozy with great showers. Communal facilities are clean.
Typical Top 10 camp. A level above.
Literally across the road from town with supermarket and restaurants only a few minutes walk. Open fire in the common room is a nice touch too.
Please be informed that there is no dishes and/or cutlery at this park.
Dear owner, being soo far from everything we pretty much experienct the usual Top10 standard of quality. The notice on the wall could hardly help with the colander.
Cabin was really good: warm, comfortable, convenient, with fridge and tv, and with suitable bed and outlets. Kitchen is good, with open rubbish bins, row of sinks and stoves. There is unaccustomed only one alone microwave (I accustomed with Living&Co), but it was not big problem. But I really upset because of devided water taps "burn or freeze" in the toilet. If it is a holy tradition, it is not my religion, is it difficult to do normal mixture water taps? At least for the half of sinks. And second point. Water blaster instead of shower. I got bruise on my eye from that shower. I could be accustomed if I worked there and cost would be just 75 per week. But we stay there just for rest, for weekend and cost was 75 per day. 75 dollars for "burn or freeze" and bruise on my eye.
Good central location. Has everything you want in a campground. Friendly staff and clean amenities. It is quite pricey and being close to the main road, can be noisy.
Friendly staff, great facilities, good showers, close to town, clean and tidy. Kinda typical of the 10 top holiday parks. Seem to be a good chain. Definitely 80 out of 100, would probably give 85 but ¼ stars aren't a thing. Anyway, our family enjoyed our stay and recommend to others
The facilities can be quite far from your campsite. Campsites are close to the road. The facilities weren't up to a high standard.we found one cold shower, a luke warm hot tub and one hand dryer for the whole bathroom. There are better campgrounds in Te anau.
So close to shops and restaurants, awesome for kids with playground and pedal carts, scooters etc, nice comfortable rooms
Amazing place to stay! Heaps of things to keep the kids occupied. Extremely clean. Will definitely be back.
An amazing place to stay. The staff were amazing. They were funny and I enjoyed the banter. The camp was so clean and tidy. The showers were great. The staff were informative and give us fantastic service. Thank you guys for making our holiday so great à
As a yealy vistor to this accomadation, this year we booked late on evening for a 3 bed room for 3 people for 2 nights the next day, they changed to a 3 person 2 bed with oit advising of the change. On arrival we paid for tue 2 nights and extra person, and went to the room and found it wasn't the correct room.
They hid behind the small print, saying they could change, but i was okay with 50% loss on the first night but simply taking the money without advising of the change is deceitful.we accessed the alternative website that showed the room types and availiblity but, all they had to do was advise but this was poor customer service and particularly to allow you to cash up prior to entry to discover the room change.
A nice clean place to stay in Te Anau. We stayed in a cabin. They are a bit outdated and musty but it does the trick for a quick night's sleep. No kitchenware available to use which is a bit disappointing given how big the kitchen is. Other top 10's we have stayed have had the odd pot/pan, sharp knives or other cooking utensils which has been helpful when it's been an unanticipated stop. The rooms have basic cups, plates and utensils for if you use the toaster/microwave which is helpful.
Brilliant clean room, efficient staff, sparkling kitchen, just sad no fire on in the brilliant sitting room to invite people in when snow fall on. Fire was started when asked for but soon went out.
Great place to stay, really good for families with lots of activities for kids. Just over the road from town centre.perfect
Facilities were lovely and clean. Definitely in the high end price wise. Showers were very inconsistent temperature, often going cold for periods of time.
What a fabulous place to stay. It was wonderful accommodation. Our room was cosy and warm, immaculately clean and tidy, had comfortable beds and a great shower. The staff were so super friendly and welcoming, including Ollie the cat. Perfect location with easy walking distance to the shops and lake.
Odd placement of vans in one section. Potential blocking one van in if the driver isn’t that confident. Clean bathroom and area.
Nice if you're passing through (ie for the tour groups etc). Beds not the most comfortable (cabin). For the price per night it could do with a bit of an uplift. Overall was an ok experience.
