Te Anau Top 10 Holiday Park

The non-powered sites are mostly for tents and small minivans. Our campervan was 6 meters and they didn't really have a good spot for us. The reception lady was rather snippy.the only reason we stayed here was so that we could do our tour of fiordslands the next morning at 7 am.and why should I pay 8 dollars extra (that's 4 per person) to have electric when I don't need it.just because your park is not set up very convenient.

I had the opportunity of staying at this holiday park with the Francis family 6 adults and twin girls of 5 months and I have to say the service was outstanding nothing was too much trouble, we mentioned that the porta cot we bought with us being too small - within half an hour one was dropped off to us. Extra tea towells, towells were delivered. If you want to know what adventures you should try Brad knows it all. Brad has done them all.
I can highly recommend this place to stay at. You pay for what you get and they have low priced accommodation to the house we booked to house us all.
It is extremely well run and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is just awesome.
Coming from Perth Australia these guys know what they are doing and I highly recommend it. I would definitely go back to stay.

Great park. Clean and organized. This park is busy and services are efficient but because of this, it lost Abit of the lovely NZ touch. Still overall a highly recommended park. Will come again

Great - very clean campsite. The staff is most helpful. Within a short walk you can reach town and the lake.

Advertised as Top 10 Superior site but would not even rate it as a classic site. We have stayed in classic sites with much better standards. The original pitch we were allocated was in a car park beside caravan/boat storage area.

The most expensive so far at 51.00, good clean facilities, excellent washing and driers, walking distance to a good selection of food places, recommend the pizza place ;)
All in all great place!

I camped here for one night in my tent and it was very difficult to sleep. They placed me very close to the main enterence so very bright lights from the enterence shined down into my tent all night. People were also constantly going through the door to go to the kitchen so i heard people slamming the door all night. Car doors are always being slammed by people as well and the front desk did not have ear plugs.

Spacious kitchen, dining and living room.playground area with jumping pillow. Good starting point for tours into the fjordlands or up to Milford Sound. High price for a non powered site, 23$ p.p. Per night.

Clean, quiet and professional. The showers are very clean. Great communal kitchen. Helpful staff. Would stay here again next time for sure.

Just wanting to say what a great place to stay.everything is very clean tidy and most most helpful staff.thanks to the housekeeping staff who gave us extra clean towels. Brad Anna marg and pa thank you.will will return.

After paying $46 for a camper spot she referred me to the back parking lot where we parked in a stall beside the dumping station. I asked why we couldn’t move to one of the empty grass stalls instead of the parking lot stall she said “Sorry nothing I can do about it. ” Plus the wifi is slow, for the price you can find better places. One positive is they supply hair dryers

As far as cleaniness and tidyness of the park and layout, we all liked. Showers and toilets clean, showers great. Free WiFi in specific areas but had to pay if out in the park on a powered site. Was raining the whole time so kids couldn't get out to play. Was a bit pricey for family of 5.

Very noisy campground alongside the main road. Staff was not very friendly when asked for some advice. We have been to quite some Kiwi parks and this is not in one of the best.

Great spot for a few nights taking a break from camping. Very spacious and clean, and quiet at night. The staff seemed a bit rushed because it's the busy season but they were still very nice. My favorite part was the fireplace in the TV lounge! The lounge has plenty of places to charge stuff. You can also rent DVDs. WiFi limit of 200mb but the library is nearby.

Good for RV trucks and campers. The room is too small and the hot water supply is not enough for every body.

Got stranded here for 5 days when the car broke. Not a bad place to get stuck. All the facilities were clean and working. Nice TV lounge with real fire place, it was never too crowded. Staff were all friendly. Only downside was the limit on wifi. But 200mb a day is probably enough for most people.

No recommendations for backpackers! There are no dishes, tea towels, cooking stuff in the kitchen! Please make sure, that you take everything with you. Just had luck that I could borrow some things at the reception, but that's not a service from them! The kitchen, restrooms, living room and backpackers room where very clean and tidy. Minus: the wifi is not so strong and you can use it just in the common rooms. Even though it is limited for 200mb per day!

5-Stars because the receptionist was among the best

The facility had improved, but the receptionist was awesome. The same person I dealt with 10 years ago, very helpful and cheerful. After a 4 hour drive - it was a welcome to be greeted with a smile - even when my wife had mistakenly booked a 'tent site'!

I would recommend this place.

Fantastic campsite but next to an incredibly noisy pub. Was kept awake past 1am on a Thursday night and lying here listening to the bass pumping through my tent yet again. Not pleasant

Great location. Clean bathrooms (great shower), kitchen and lounge. Washing machine and dryers are good too. Staff friendly and very helpful.
