Hahei Beach Cafe

Stopped for brunch. Good coffee, pleasant staff, and appealing food options. Husband had waffles, which looked and tasted great. I had a muffin from the cabinet, moist and plenty of flavor. Pet friendly too. Hope to visit again soon.

Beautiful local coffee shop and kitchen. Limited food choices but everything that comes out is fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly. Prices are par for quality and quantity. I will be back

The good: it's open off-season, the menu is diverse, the staff is friendly, the food is prepared quickly, and eggs Benedict is amazing.
The not so good: very very pricey, the tables are strangely sticky, and summer nachos are god-awful.

Delicious food, amazing. The owner and his employees are super nice. Clean and comfortable too.

Had eggs Benedict for breakfast and was exceptionally well made. Eggs poached perfectly with smoked salmon and were put on beautifully herbed potato rostis followed by a good hollandaise sauce. I believe the owners are the same as the Church Street Bistro where we had an excellent dinner as well.

The people are very friendly and the food as well as the Cafe is super yummy.
We had some smashed avocado sourdough bread and eggs Benedict.
Price about 30 Euro.average price for this area of NZ

Located very close to Cathedral cave trail. Great cafe. Super delicious food. Very reasonable prices. Nice staff. Very friendly. Nice people.

A Lovely place for brunch. We had some delicious cabinet food: Stuffed Eggplant, Pork and Fennel Sausage Roll, Bacon and Egg Pie and a croissant. But salad tasted dry.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our scrumptious breakfast here in a place that was vibrant, inviting, warm and busy. Would totally recommend this place to anyone.

The food was yumm. The one star is because of the customer service. The guy was like on the worst possible behaviour. Except for that it was a good experience

Lovely little cafe, stopped here before heading to Cathedral Cove.lovely food and coffee, great service and just a beautiful location/atmosphere.

The place was buzzing but the service was still super friendly, timely and they got our order spot on out together. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend the breakfast platter and the waffles were a hit with the kids! Will definitely go there again next time.

Had the pleasure of having coffee and a cheese scone here yesterday- THE BEST cheese scone EVER! Thank you for making such delicious scones and thank you for mine.

It may be off peak summer season but this cafe was still buzzing with business. Even if it was mainly the locals.

Isn’t that just a good sign that it’s good cafe?

Well I’d like to say it is and what a wonderful selection of food in the glass cabinet to choose for your enjoyment. It looked fresh and inviting and prepared fresh from the kitchen.

Service was friendly and welcoming. They got us seated quickly and service was prompt.

If your visiting Cathedral Cove or just passing by we do recommend this cafe for some scrumptious delights and a little time out.

Strolled into this, wee slice of delight yesterday and had to return to it today for Brunch and some take away lunch.
Good coffee, great friendly service, dam good food, and I would say probally the best savory scone I've ever had.
Highly rate this gorgeous little Cafe, excellent clean toy outdoor area, defintly, well worth visiting when here or near here.

Arrived just before they closed for the day (20 mins early). Chicken pie was ok, but the iced coffee wasn't nice, just a very milky coffee with a few ice cubes. Better places around.

They denied me from eating a piece of food I had despite the fact that most of the food and the beverages I got where in the shop. I don't like this kind of not very humane attention to public. Too expensive for what they offer.

Most amazing experience here today! Such great service, fast and efficient delivery of food and drinks, at a top quality standard Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling in the Coromandel! The staff were amazing so incredibly friendly and happy to help in any way. The coffee was superb, food was insane and overall loved it! Such a great spot will be back again ️
