Hahei Beach Cafe

Have to say, wasn't expecting such lovely place till wife took us here.
Maybe the only cafe around here? Simple menu with the basic selections but so tasty! Well done to the chefs. Nice selections in the cabinet, that Pie! So good
Superem coffee literally is the winning point, had two Lattes this morning lol.
Sitting in the back yard and watching my kid running around in the playground is peaceful lol, nice n safe. Keep in mind, lots of birds around too, keep eyes on your food! Lol
Only one star down is the service, could be more approachable? Your friendliness costs nothing boys lol

Was a noce spot to sit and enjoy a bite to eat.
Great selection of cabinet food and good service.

I don’t believe the reviews. I didn’t get friendly service. I didn’t get great food. I did get good coffee. Guy at counter not great. Saddened me to the point that the power went out! Coincidence? I think not.

The service here was so good! The staff are so friendly, the coffee came so fast and everyone was so kind.it’s a really positive environment! The coffee was super good as well, especially the iced coffees.it’s a go to spot, will come back everytime i’m here:)

Amazing food and coffee, has a great little cabinet selection. We enjoyed breakfast here the first time we came a second. Staff are friendly and food comes out quickly, our eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly and a nice amount of hollandaise on a herb rosti. Our daughter enjoyed her waffles and iced mochas. Coffee was hot and delicious. An enjoyable start to a day at the beach. Highly recommend

I got a response from owner telling me to be kind. I was. I didnt abuse ur staff. I expected good friendly service and good food.and i didnt get that. WHY? Whats hard about that. What does it cost ur staff to di their jobs better than what they are. Reviews are a feedback, take that on board. I have never and will never review anyone unfairly. I only state what my experience has been, so the time u have wasted on coming at me, go talk to ur staff to treat the ppl that do make the time to cone into ur business, so well that not only do they review well but come back. You knw i wont because u just showed me how much value u put on customer satisfaction. None apparently. The only recourse customers have is to review u, honestly. I did that. U want better reviews.provide better service.

The Staff unhelpful the quy who served us just didn't want to be there his comment to another person was I'm over it cant wait to get out. Said it all Really asked him if the pot in the display cabinet was a chia pudding he said yes when we got it and tasted it was Oats couldnt eat it tasted yuck.
Never go back.

Amazing cafe! They serve Coffee Supreme and the meals were so tasty. In these COVID times their service with a smile (yes through the mask) was impeccable. The waffles had a balanced flavour and sweetness. Cabinet food was memorable too. Eggs bene served on a potato rosti is a really good healthy option to reduce bread/gluten intake. Highly recommended!

I do think the food & prices are awesome.was a little disappointed in the crab cake.it was delicious but I am not sure there was any crab in it.it was mostly potatoes & spinach & crunchy onion which would have been nicer if it was precooked.staff are very friendly but at times a little egotistical & somewhat immature. I will be back but just won't have the crab cake.

My boyfriend and I came to the Coromandel on our annual leave, and happened upon this amazing cafe. Amazing cabinet display and selection, great menu, and really friendly staff. The service was perfect, and the indoor seating and decor was so nice. Loved the interactive world map! I got the GF eggs on toast, and YUM!
Will 100% be back on our future holidays!

Staff are so lovely and welcoming. My soy latte was so delicious! Best banana bread I've had for a wee while. The only downside, which won't make my review lose a star, are the flies that hang around. I know this time of year means they are EVERYWHERE!

Coffee and a savoury scone yesterday morning. Both were excellent. Coffee was one of the best I have had in a while. Place packs out pretty quickly so you have to be early.

Friendly staff and very welcoming atmosphere. Had the bacon and scrambled eggs on toast with a flat white coffee. Delicious! ️

Very welcoming and open cafe. Loved the world travel map on the wall. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Greatest with a smile. Had a variety of options from breakfast to sweets. We ordered and seated very quick. Both sandwiches toasted and presented very neatly on plate. Both were very delicious. Out came the meat platter and OMG it was very filling. We did manage to demolish the majority of it. You can see the pictures of what was on the platter. Well worth the stop and worth every cent. Will be visiting again when in the area.

If you stop at Hahei is definitely a place to stop for a good meal. The service is just as exceptional as the food. Fully Licensed place so you can have a nice cold corona on a hot summer day. A must stop!

Delicious food and friendly staff- what more could you ask for in a café! Did feel like the portions were a bit small for the price- things such as only getting one waffle were a little bit disappointing. Other than that the café was really good and the food came out fast!

A gorgeous cafe near Hahei Beach, love the outdoor seating by the park and the coffee is always top notch. I visited on a very busy day and the staff were so lovely and the service super speedy. I'll be back!

Best muffin ever! So crunchy and moist. Coffee is nice enough and they charge the average price for good quality. The raspberry coconut slice was delightful. If you're around Hahei beach you should stop by!
