Smash Pipi

Ribs n squids were fantastic. Meat falling off the bone with just the right amount of chew. Squid was a nice touch. Slaw was good. 9/10 - chips could be a little better maybe hand cut not frozen next time. Good price and value.

We went for dinner, which is available now. Ben and his team really looked after us. Prawn and scallop platter for entree, which was fresh and delicious, then chicken and fish mains. The food really was superb, a great dinner option in Whangamatā!

My wife's eggs on her Benny were not running apart from that we had a great breakfast, will go back

Absolutely fantastic all round. Staff very attentive while zipping around to keep things going. The food was cooked perfectly with beautiful flavour in every bite. The new owner is just what this restaurant needed to kick it back into gear. Well done smash pipi!

Had heard good things but went in yesterday and the tables were dirty some sort of milk drink had been spilt and not cleaned up all over floor was not busy when we went in so left found somewhere that was clean

The seafood chowder was fantastic on a wet day.

SO GOOD! Everything we had was amazing, but the crispy chicken hawker roll was one of the best things we ate our whole vacation!

Just had a mocha but it was fabulous. Some young staff who were doing a great job, really polite. Was a pleasure.

Staff are great, super friendly and helpful, attentive, despite being very busy. Food was great and coffees good. Give these people a raise and high budget staff party

Took over 45 minutes for a burger and loaded fries to come out, Which would’ve been fine had we been warned about the long wait before ordering. Burger was fine aside from the cold chips, But the loaded fries were disgusting, didn’t even have real cheese. Disappointed overall, Especially with the high price point.

Forgot to mention that the water was absolutely disgusting. After we drunk some and realised how gross it tasted, we noticed there was some kind of mould or bacteria build up around the bottle lid. Wouldn’t be surprised if we got sick.

Ordered the loaded waffle fries and was not advised they were out of the product as we were after wedges which was not on the menu.
Order was delivered with standard fries which was disappointing.
If i was told at the start, we would not have ordered as it was alot of money for standard loaded fries.

We visited twice during a weekend stay the staff were very nice and food and drinks were great. Delicious breakfast for our family thank you

You need to go wild on the maple syrup if you're selling waffles and French toast. Because if you dont stuff tastes dry. Smoothies and milkshakes were great.

Delicious brunch, milkshakes, tropical smoothie and coffee. Excellent service. Great for kids/families.

Great service even though they were busy really friendly. Best beef burger I have had in ages. Also the 3 other diners were equally happy.

Ordered the cheese burger meal and seafood salad.
Burger meal was stone cold the bun was hard and stale.
Salad was okay pumpkin had a sour taste to it. Waited over 45 mins and the place was not busy.
Brought a carrot cake slice to go was sickly sweet went straight in the bin. Very disappointing

Seemed like the busiest on a Sunday evening & I can see why.the iced coffee Frappuccino is delicious. We had the most amazing spring rolls and the chicken fried rice is quite nice. Take out

I love this place I've been here previously and this time I was here on business I spoke to Mike who was the owner At his recommendation I had the Seafood Chowder and it was the 1st equal best chowder I've had A must visit and try it
