Absolutely shocking. Came in with our baby (cost $55 to be seen?) because he had a temp of 39.1 and shortness of breath, was made to wait over an hour. We ended up leaving and went to Angelsea instead and went in instantly. Will NEVER go back to Tui Medical and will be letting others know of this experience. Absolutely ridiculous, this could have been an emergency situation. And since when do people get charged for babies healthcare? Tui seem to be more interested in making money than helping people.

They carry the disease around, pretty sure I heard them practicing a child sacrifice in the next room over the ritualistic chanting was really creepy.

I would give 0 stars if it was possible.

Regarding the covid19 vaccine: I have a pre-exisiting condition that should allow me to get an exemption as I've previously had a stroke and take blood thinners daily. I arranged a phone meeting with Brian Lucey to discuss my genuine concerns around getting the covid19 vaccine. Those concerns centre around having another stroke due to the risk of blood clots, as well as the fact that Pfizer and Medsafe both say don't get the shot if you're on blood thinners. Medsafe also reports the numbers of strokes/suspected strokes post vaccines on their health report. Instead of an impartial, evidence based discussion with a medical professional, I was told that "he was pro vaccine and that he'd always recommend the vaccine". I was bullied, he told me not to be selfish, my concerns were ignored or trampled, there was a poor attempt to disillusion me with "facts" about how there's a greater risk to my health taking the oral contraceptive pill or Viagra. I'm not a woman you'd be surprised to hear, nor do I take Viagra.

What the hell is the point of seeing a doctor when this is how they act? I cannot comment strongly enough about how disgusted I am with the perfomance of "Dr" Brian Lucey.

I’m from out of town on a 2-week course at Wintec and came in on Saturday morning with ear infection symptoms that I tried self medicating from Friday, but it seems to just get worse by the day. Not knowing the area I ask one of the teachers where I can go to see a doctor to get this looked at.

They recommended Tui medical because they are affordable and do walk-ins for foreigners.

I went in on Saturday morning and paid the $105. On my visit that took no longer than 8min with the doctor, I told the doctor that I’m busy with exams and I can't study or pay attention like this and need his help. He then subscribed me with antibiotics and ear drops for inflammation, but no pain meds (As I told him I was drinking Nuromol) He said it will get better by Monday if not come in and they will see what they can do. I paid the $50 at Unichem for the medication and followed the instructions as told.

It's Monday and it's getting worse, it seems to be moving to the other ear and the infected one is getting much worse. I can't hear at all anymore and the Nuromoc dissent help for pain management.

I can't eat or sleep and seriously struggle with pain.

I returned to Tui medical on Monday afternoon after class and explained to the receptionist that the medication the doctor gave me is not working and it's getting worse. And ask if she could please ask if it's normal or what should I do.

I was then told to pay another $105 before they can do anything.

I’m confused and upset that after visiting tui medical the first time I would hope that I won't have to go back because I trusted the advice the doctor gave me. But the advice isn't working and now I need to pay another $105 just to find out if it's normal for the other ear to also start feeling the same and the pain not going away.

How much should I pay before tui medical get it right.

To be honest I’m glad it wasn't a life or death visit on Saturday, It may have been a different outcome.

Atrocious service … they seem to be understaffed for weekends… went there they took name asked to sit … an hour later (usual) asked how long it would be “oops sorry we didn’t enter you properly “ we weren’t in the waiting list! Next time to pick up crutches “yep wait here we will get them” (holly also chatting/texting on her mobile) 40 minutes later…”how long left to wait “? Holly “oops sorry forgot”!

Just got turned away with a 13yr old girl (registered patient) presenting with chest pains and heart palpitations. Told to go to another centre because they close in an hour and don't have spare staff to check her. Unbelievable.

Absolutely appalled with the service with this medical centre. Got a blood test done on Tuesday it’s now Friday and no news. Been calling since Tuesday afternoon and I have called 32 times now and still on hold as I type this review with no results. Get transferred to a extension which no one answers

Went there the other day after slipping on a rock an smashing my shin on anthor rock my leg was swollen an red. The asked me if I had a tecness lately which I hadn't in ofer 15 years. The still didn't end up giving me one they didn't clean my wound sent me for a xray an there was no broken bone or fracture an then said well give you some pain relief an send me home to rest. I'm not very happy with tui medical every time I want to book an appointment no availability. My Dr evy shin is always fully booked or not working and I don't want to go to a man Dr I'm so unhappy. And I'm a caregiver don't have flexi time and can't afford to pay the 50dollar at urgent care. And I know that nobody will help me or try to fix the system

This time Totally disappointed today its was an emergency I took my wife 7: 23 pm because she feeling chest pain really bad.recaptions said we are close not taking any more patient, you can go Te Rapa they are open till midnight. But no one was waiting inside that time, sign board saying open website saying going to be closed at 8: 00pm. How can A Urgent medical care centre would be so unorganised and irresponsible.

Had to take my wife and child there during the weekend. He said my child will be ok by time and no need medicine, he said that may he be wrong and become worst. For my wife gave her medicine. After 1 week they become both worst than before. After that I had to take them to another GP to give them correct medicine. Not recommended except it's emergency.

Visited tui medical today requesting 2 small biopsy stitches to be removed. Was told it was going to cost me $84! Probably take 5 mins to remove the stitches.so that equates to nearly $1000 an hour! Surely this is rediculous overcharging. The skin biopsy was done in tauranga. I could drive to tauranga & back for that

Absolute joke of an urgent care, arrived at 6: 30 with a broken finger and swollen hand and could not get medical attention as “we’re not taking any more patients tonight, go to Anglesea urgent care”.
No other patients in sight. Definitely do not recommend

Unhelpful front desk, terrible healthcare all round. Can’t even get an appointment 1month in advance to see my doctor.

I am totally disgusted with Tui Medical centres all together. All in a nutshell: 3 weeks, 2 centres, 5 casts (not one was correct), 3 different peoples attempts, no calls answered, no follow up dates given and as a result: a badly fused bone, a cast saw burn and cast sores from the cast being too tight and trauma caused by incompetent practitioners at Tui Medical is now what my 6 year old had to deal with. I would NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO EVEN THINKING OF GOING TO ANY OF THESE CENTRES!

1 star is TOO MUCH!

Very poor service and even though I have an appointment, I still needed to wait for almost 30 mins. Also, have been waiting for my blood test results for over a few weeks already, nothing came back at all.

Tried booking in today and every doctor is fully booked! I only just got an appointment by chance as someone cancelled and it's not with my doctor as he is booked out until September. I have to typically wait 2 or even 4 weeks at the most to see my doctor and I can't stand it. Too many patients and not enough doctors to cope with work load. It was good once apon a time but has gotten so much worse in the last couple of years. It's a shame because my doctor is lovely!

This clinic has very bad service. I once asked them a question and they didn't know but asked me to provide some documents which they will look through and ring me back. I went there twice for it and they asked me to go back waiting. Weeks passed there was no ring or text. I rang them for it. But, they lost the documents I gave to them and told me that they cannot do anything but I have to bring it to them again. It is understandable that they don't know something they are not familiar but their management has problem and attitude is very unprofessional.

Incompetent nurses, don't return calls, regularly screw up lab tests. My newborn was required to have a stool test, however apparently they don't test under three months olds. They waited three days to tell me the test would not be taken - meanwhile the problem was still occurring. I found the nurses to be very passive aggressive.
