66Excellent food and great service. We love coming here and the new menu has plenty to explore.)
Best Indian restaurant in Porirua and definitely my favourite in the whole of greater Wellington. Beautiful food, the meat is melt in you mouth tender and everything tandoori is delicious.
The best Indian food either of us have ever had, in the US, UK, or NZ. Wonderful service, tucked away location with lovely views. Sheer delight.
I highly recommend their lamb madras, yellow lentil dhal, garlic butter naan & mango lassi. Absolutely beautiful!
Our party of 6, which included 2 children, were treated really well, with lovely food and friendly, kind staff
Delicious every time (and when the food wasn't quite right on one occasion, they were very willing to fix things).
Lamb Kadai is my personal favourite!
Great service and delicious food. Went to Porirua for dinner and was great! Our favourite place to get curry.
Hidden gem! Awesome experience, great venue that makes you feel at home and super friendly/helpful staff.
They have a giant menu with a thorough explanation of each dish. They also have a second menu specially made to be vegan friendly. 10/10 food and great portion sizes.
Mango chicken Beautiful
Goat Curry is BONE IN (therefore less meat - as the bowl is no bigger than normal), otherwise really nice.
Ladies don't wear a light coloured top!
Salad was Aromatic & Tasty!
Keema Naan lacking on the filling, otherwise very nice
Wrong charges charged for take away as per online menu for food, and same prices charged for takeaway and dine in. Always every restaurant dine and takeaway charges was different, when told manager about that still they charged wrong not give money back
They charged for one Roti $5.50 but actual amount online menu:
$3.50, so for every one bread they charged $2 dollar extra, not recommended anyone about that visit worst services and lying with customers and ripped them,
Our conversation home involved talking about why we haven't been before, who we will go back with and what we will have next? It was that good. We had a mixed platter, chole bhature, keema naan and bhuna chicken. On top of the food being lovely the restaurant and the setting are worth a trip too.
The staff are super nice and have a gentle inviting nature. The manager is an amazing customer service person. Will definitely be going back for more yummy food Great expressions
Totally rip off. $160 for three curries and 3 rotis. Seriously? Watery and tasteless butterchicken.won’t be going again ever.
The place is very spacious and nicely cosy. The food is really nice, ingredients are fresh, condiments are excellently balanced. I had fried rice, chicken based starters and sweets. Portion sizes are good, I took a good portion as take away. Service and cleanliness is very good. On the whole I would certainly recommend this place for groups of people planning a bash or for a special occasion to be celebrated nicely.
Are you serious guys? $5 for mini kuchumber salad not even for one person, it looks like you guys just gave us your extra chopped vegetables and saved your wastage. Things are getting expensive but not that expensive you can just rip off your customers. Sell that for $2 or improve the portion.
Panner Tikka Masala explains itself a dish which should have roasted panner with onion and Capsicum gravy.
You are selling cheap cheese tomatoe as Paneer Tikka masala and that also sweet.
Your chef needs to be aware of authenticity of Indian food.
Super taste and quality. Lately, you've really up your game Little India Porirua. Last night we had a take away of Malai Kofta and Palak Panner and both were so different taste in themselves and both curries were great. Would definitely do more dine-ins and takeaways
We tried to go for dinner on Sunday night at 6.30/7 it was obvious there was a party in one side of the restaurant. However the other side nearly empty. We waited at the counter to be seated While waiting there were a number of kids running around bumping into people. We gave up and walked out after 10 min as no staff came and spoke to us.
Outstanding service from all staff, they know their sequence of service and how to look after a customer. The food was prompt and delicious. Left very happy and full. Top marks. One of the best Indian dining experience I have ever had hands down.
Mate! I've had these guys many times, not as consistent as I would like, but my meal I just had was actually my daughter's, was the best butter chicken I've ever had, it's not even my go to, but when I had a taste I was fricken transported into another dimension! And it started at the onion bajis, Frick! SoYumm! Yussssss!
Thank you chef made my day
