No communication at all. After invoice was paid they informed me my goods would take a month to arrive. Turns out it only took two weeks, however they put them into storage and tried to invoice us for 2 weeks storage. We wanted our stuff asap, so was disappointed to find out our goods had arrived in our city 2 weeks ago upon receiving an invoice for storage

Right from the first interaction I was so impressed with Allied. Communication was on point throughout the entire process. The day of loading the truck was absolutely terrible weather, but the guys just kept going loading everything with care.

Allied helped us move from Auckland to Taranaki. The packing team led by the amazing Carla worked fast, efficiently and there were no breakages on her watch!
The Taranaki team were brilliant too.

Haven’t had the best experience with Allied. Positives: pick up and delivery of our belongings was on time and reasonably communicated.
Negatives: communication other than above was pretty average.
For the amount you pay, you’d think on delivery, they’d at least put bed base/mattress together.
Were rough with our belongings - had 3 major damages to expensive items, 2 of which clearly marked fragile.
Insurance was difficult to understand, add on costs for everything & expensive. But obviously needed due to damages so glad we ended up getting it.

Move went ok, but what really irked us was my daughters very full money box never made the trip. We brought it to their attention and have never heard back. If you use these guys keep your valuables with you, I wont trust them again

They lied to me about when they would be delivering all of my personal belongings which I had made arrangements like taking time off work to help them unload but nothing showed up.not happy at all more money down the drain

Allied have been an exceptional company dealing with our complex move from NZ back to the UK. If you are looking for a great moving company then look no further than Allied, and if in Auckland, ask for Desmond Dudley, I can not recommend him highly enough, he went way way beyond what one would expect to look after and support us, even many months after he needed to and always with a lovely sense of friendship. Our belongings went missing after sending them to the U. K. The sheet shows they were picked up and never boarded the container. We are many thousand dollars out of pocket and no recourse without the expensive insurance. Good luck seeing your goods on the other side as they accept no liability!

From the initial contact by email, then by phone, through to your Auckland team's arrival to your Hawkes Bay team's departure the experience was absolutely outstanding. Your teams could not have been more professional, efficient, friendly and so very helpful. They boxed up everything to ensure safety, really taking time to do a thorough job. A previous moving experience with another company had left us traumatised, so we were wary. This time was just perfect. The teams arrived at the time they said they would, and we were so grateful for an earlier delivery date. We recommend your company to everyone.

Um Really guys the easiest person to deal with was Mel and the driver who collected them.
They were ment to arrive in Nelson on the 20.09.22 still not arrived and I had to chase up the company to see what was going on 6 hrs later I received an email from them say it was in a container.
Luckily I got the 400+ worth of insurance as there was a lot of expensive race engine parts and I have them photod as it sounds like they actually don't know where my 3 box's of parts are.

It took them 3 attempts to pack and collect our belongings from Australia. We kept finding entire rooms still untouched despite their claims they were done. Even then we still found extra boxes not taken. We were only given inventory for the first container they took. Paid them a great deal of money and utter shambles. We are sill awaiting our delivery. It's been in NZ over 3 weeks (the time frame given for delivery) and we can not get any response from email or phone calls, despite leaving numerous messages over several days. Completely appalled by their unprofessionalism. I can't believe they are still allowed to operate a business like this. A warning to all, do not use this company.

The Allied team was exceptional end-to-end for my Auckland to Wellington move. Their staff was friendly and helpful, and made the whole (otherwise stressful) experience easy for me. Communication was fabulous, service was first class and everything went exactly to plan, and exactly as they laid out. Highly recommend Allied to anyone shifting house, particularly for a long-haul move!

Communication of a delivery time could of been better rather then me having to chase it up. Other than that, a good service, polite staff

We found the movers to be very professional and respectful. They handled our possessions with great care. They were very friendly and easy to deal with, both with the loading and unloading of the container.
We have already recommended Allied Pickford to family and friends if they require a removal company.

Moving experience was made easy with these guys. The efficiency and simple, yet thorough, style and procedures of their job really made things things much less stressful when moving down to the South Island. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We had a quote for two containers to move our house from Auckland to Timaru. After two days of packing at Auckland we found 10 boxes left behind plus lots of pot plants and garden furniture which we had to pay to dispose of. Imagine our utter disappointment to discover when unpacking at Timaru the containers had been filled with 20 (yes 20) big empty boxes used as packing instead of packing our belongings in the wasted space. The Timaru team were fantastic but the Auckland team was a complete disaster costing us in lost possessions and added costs
