Brilliant team, friendly, professional, assiduous, attentive and totally onto it at all times. Perhaps even a little too efficient - among unexpected things they packed and moved were the contents of our recycling bin!

From start to finish Allied Pickfords afforded us the most professional and friendly service. They wrapped my glass furniture and lots of other valuable and fragile stuff with extreme care. This is the second time I have used their services and am equally satisfied. But.was let down badly by their subcontractors relating to carpet cleaners. They didn't turn up at prearranged time so cancelled this service.

WOW, WOW, WOW, What an amazing experience moving with the Team from Allied Auckland. First things first, they were on time and very friendly, I have never seen this from a moving company before. They definitely are the Careful movers, took care of all our belonging like if it were their own. The TEAM went out of their way to make our move as smooth as possible, not a single hiccup the entire move. I am absolutely amazed to say the least. I personally will definitely recommend the Team From Allied, they took the stress out of moving. Well done and thank you once again.

Allied Pickford were brilliant right from when I contacted them. Great communications, on time, all packed professionally, delivered as agreed on time and no breakages whatsoever. Allied Pickford’s charges were half of what three other companies quoted us. We were pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended and would not hesitate to use again. Well done guys!

The team who helped us we're great, considerate, and efficient. The only negative was the amount of paper waste from the packing, it seemed a bit unnecessary at times. Asides from that, I would recommend and use Allied again.

We moved from Auckland to Christchurch. The consultant was wonderful but 2 stars for the broken fridge, washer and dryer I received when they delivered my home contents. To even lodge a claim was a nightmare. All in all, to arrive at your new home with all your white ware damaged is depressing. The total cost of these appliances is approximately 6k so you can imagine how angry and stressed we felt. Movers were not careful with our goods. No protection was used for white ware at all. Really made a stressful time the worst we could ever experience. Rock bottom moving service. All goods arrived dirty. Coffee spills on the baby gate, shelves of furniture full of dust and dirt as though it had been outside in the wild. Very unhappy and very sad my well loved appliances are damaged: (

I gave specific instructions for the stacking of the storage unit. I asked for 3 items to be left at the front for easy access. All three were left right at the back with things stacked on top of them. One was a quad bike which had heavy items stacked on top of the handlebars. Not happy.

Amazing service! Carla and the team were so efficient and organised with our move. Communication was excellent and the guys were ahead of schedule and moved us out into our new house faster than we expected. Everything arrived well packed, intact and undamaged. Nothing was too much trouble, and they also included a few items I had overlooked. Everything went smoothly and they helped make what would have been a more stressful and tiring process, a lot easier. The paperwork was very efficient and all the items and boxes accounted for at both ends. Would definitely recommend and use them again in the future. Thank you so much!

I was moving to another town and wanted no issues, so I chose a long established company. Allied Pickfords were excellent - from the administration, their internal liaison, and on to the guys on the ground - no problems, professional, and everything arrived safely and on time:)

The worst service I have ever experienced. My home items were shipped from Melbourne to NZ end of November and were delivered end of March however my large couch was missing. It has now been 6 months and my couch has still not arrived in NZ and I cannot get a response from anyone within the business. Unacceptable service and still yet to know if I will ever receive my couch, a service refund or a loss of item refund? If you are looking for a service where your items will be delivered on time and in full this business is not it.

Due to Alert Level 4, the uplift of our goods could not take place as planned on March 25th. However, the Auckland team were very responsive to our need to have our possessions collected as soon as possible from the rental property. The moving team arrived on the first day of Alert Level 3, at 8 a.m. And were courteous, professional and careful.

We really appreciate the communication we received and the efforts that they made to facilitate our move under these extraordinary circumstances. Thanks to all involved.

Worse experience ever! Forms lost and then incorrectly submitted! Import coordinator blaming NZ customs for the delay when it was actually their fault for not submitting paperwork until 4 weeks later from date of arrival! Then being told it was because they were on holiday and “it is what it is” Poor poor service. Do not waste your money on these slackers.

NEVER use this company. A six-to-eight week estimated shipping time for our belongings from Melbourne to Auckland has now been four months and counting. Still no delivery of our goods. SHOCKING customer service. We have had to spend so much more money purchasing items to use because the stuff we sent (including a baby's cot and clothing) has never arrived. Incredible how helpful Allied Pickford are when you're getting your quote/packing sorted, but as soon as the invoice is paid they couldn't care less about what actually happens to your shipment. You're just left to wait indefinitely on a chain of unresponsive emails from random people with vague "we'll get back to you shortly" responses. Horrendous, frustrating, and total waste of money. Never again.

Delay in delivering our shipment from Cape Town to Auckland.
Damage to property by the movers which has still not been looked at after 2 months. This was after being told on the day of the damage that "you wanted the bookcase upstairs so what did you expect". Totally unprofessional company!

So disappointed. While they were quick to sign a contract and get my money the rest of the experience has been somewhat less enjoyable. First of all it felt like they pressured me into paying extra charges I did not need to pay based on the contract and than would not pay me back. More so, it takes them weeks to respond to emails and it feels like false advertising when they claim you don’t need to deal with third parties when all I did was deal with a third party at the destination.

Never will I ever use this company again and I can only hope others will not have the experience I have had.

Moving is a stressful experience in it self and you want a reliable partner not someone who can’t keep their promises and who is trying to maximise their profits.

The WORST service ever. They were keen to get all the money upfront but just were such a stressful company to deal with.
They seem to be constantly changing staff so your account gets multiple account managers and nobody knows what’s happening.
We moved from Whangarei, NZ to Ireland and Allied Pickfords got all their wires crossed, with multiple contacts corresponding with contradictory requests and advice.
In the end, they ended up holding our stuff in a cold warehouse in Auckland for two months (and not telling us they were going to do it) because they didn’t have the right documents form us (which they didn’t ask for).
The customer service was appalling. No professionalism, no decency and just arrogant. They have your money and your stuff. They made an already stressful move a total nightmare. Avoid!

18 WEEKS!
4-9 week estimate?
Worst experience of my life from a large international company!
It all began as soon as the money changed hands for a shared container which had an estimate of 4-9 weeks to get to Australia.
Calls would then no longer be answered. The container wasn’t leaving the country by 4 weeks in as it wasn’t full. Every attempt at making contact wasn’t answered or I was passed around to different people or told “It’s nothing to do with us as it’s in Australia now it’s a different company”. I didn’t understand this as the contract was with them. I had my tools for work in this container so I wasn’t able to work this entire time of delay which was all up 18 WEEKS.
All the excuses in the book saying it been stopped for quarantine which took around two to three weeks to pass. We were then told the forms had been filled out incorrectly which I thought would’ve been picked up at the start!
Finally after 18 WEEKS the day of arrival the truck breaks down on the way to delivery. Pushed back another day. Could it get any worse? “Yes it can”. Unloading the truck boxes we’re getting dropped And we finally opened our goods which were well packed but items were missing like a watch and a box of clothing. My partners bicycle Was broken from a drop of the truck I’m guessing. Terrible service and definitely not $5000 worth. Don’t use this company if you’re wanting your belongings to arrive at all or you have any time restraints for arrival.

Our belongings were collected 3cmonths ago and the last communication we had was once again the container isnt full. Since then which was a month ago we have been ignored. We are living in a house woth practically no furnoture and half our clothes missing. My computer is in there and even my wedding dress. Now starting we will never get it and it cost us a fortune. I would not reccomend.
