The team here are awesome. I live in Tauranga and these guys made is SUPER easy for me to get my car, I explained my situation involving an insurance payout from a totalled car to Honi the account manager and within 24hrs he had sorted finance appropriate to my situation with no pressure to commit whatsoever. In the mean time he had Darren call and talk through everything car related with me. All contact was made initially on Thursday, by the following Tuesday Darren sorted the car, the the head unit upgraded to an Apple Music head unit per request and car was delivered to a local agent. 3.5 business days and they guys had me in my new car! From AKL to TGA nonetheless! Premium sales team, definitely recommended especially if you live out of AKL and don’t know about buying from an AKL agent. Thanks heaps team

My partner was interested in one of their cars and was extremely excited to buy it, but when he went to view the car the salesperson was extremely rude and was not allowing my partner to take the car for a test drive which he said was due to the fact that he doesn't want the car to get trashed. This does not make any sense? We went to a very upmarket dealership the other day and asked to test drive a car which is worth a lot more than the one at gvi we were looking at and those salesmen didn't even hesitate to give us the keys for the test drive. It is standard procedure when you buy a car to take it for a test drive first, so that you know for sure that there is nothing wrong with it. They wanted him to buy the car first and then take it for a test drive. No sense in that because then you'll be driving it in any way because its yours? My partner tried to negotiate the price as there was a couple of dents in the car and similar later model cars were going for cheaper, but the salesman wouldn't budge and said that if they were to change the price they would not disclose it to me until after signing the paperwork. Which again makes no sense. It's an absolute joke of a place with no sense of sales or customer care. I'd happily go spend my money elsewhere.

One of the worst car dealerships I have been too. Went to see a gt86 but Paul the senior sales “specialist “ did not even let me test drive it to see if I liked the vehicle. He was putting a lot on pressure and was super stand off ish. Extremely rude, don’t waste your time there heaps better dealerships out there who will let you go on a test drive to see if it’s the vehicle you are after.:)

Booked a Leaf car with a deposit. Caught bus from Taupo to inspect. Excellent value car package, and communication from team. Drove Leaf home to Taupo with power stops. Leaf is performing perfectly. Thank you DVI for our lovely "bluey" (light blue colour).

Was told I had to have finance approved first or proof of funds before I was able to test drive a car. Don't judge a book by it's cover, or just look at the car the pull up in. You lost my business.

The market leaders when it comes to import EV's. As a bonus, they have some of the best JDM vehicles on site.

Wanting to downsize and get a hybrid or EV was a difficult decision to make. The Team at GVI Penrose couldn’t have been more accomodating. Gleb walked my wife and i through the options that I could choose from and I finally settled on this little beast.

Gleb’s attention to detail, Knowledge and the fact that he made the process so easy to finalize the purchase made the whole experience world class. The Swift has fit in to our life perfectly and I couldn’t recommend a better team to buy a car with!

Sales persoon was very nice and friendly, but owner and son believe they're god almighty and feel like every customer is below them. Very rude from driving in to negotiating style

Car I bought came 6 months ago they only provided one key fob and now the fob is dead. Have to fork out $250 for a new one. "Auto" light started flashing and it's making weird noise. Car is just driven in Rotorua and only went once out of town to Tauranga. Contacted sales person basically said it's past 30 days warranty and have to sort it out myself.

This added unnecessary stress to our already stressful setting at home. I have bought 2 cars from 2 different dealers and had no issues 5 and 6 years later. Wasn't able to get this car checked as Auckland was in lockdown. Paid for delivery and trusted them. I'm not saying they are dodgy, I'm just here to warn you to get the car checked first before you buy from this company. It's not good for mental health.

These guys are very helpful if you are looking to change or upgrade your car. Big selection to choose from and they have growing number of EV s to choose from.

The car sales person who I dealt with was extremely helpful and offered me a good deal. I really appreciated their customer service which was exceptional. I would definitely recommend it. Go GVI!

Nice friendly service. They go out of there way to help you. Just strange they will NOT let you take the vehicle for a test drive. They scared you will put up the km on the car. You can only drive it if you are serious about buying the vehicle. Took my business somewhere else.
