When I enquired as to whether I could have the first service of my vehicle at Nissan Manukau instead of Nissan Takapuna
where I had purchased it, I was treated with courtesy, politeness and made to feel valued. They contacted me throughout the day with updates on replacement parts and when the car was ready and the cost. On pick up I was walked to the car by a Staffer and made to feel important Well done Nissan Manukau and thank you.

This Branch of Nissan is a disgrace to the Nissan Brand. I took my car in for a repair as it was missing. They told me it would cost $2500.00 to repair as the spark plugs hadn't been changed so long it had damaged the engine and needed seals replacing. They told me the repair would take 3-6 weeks and when I asked if they had a courtesy car they said no. I was highly suspicious as I only purchased the car 3 months ago from another dealer and it had been serviced 3 months before and also I had AA check the car before buying it. I challenged them on this with an email and the service manager rung me and was argumentative about my criticisms. The story changed a lot and then all of a sudden they said my car was working fine with just a spark plug changed. They wanted the car back in 3 weeks to do the $2500.00 worth of work.

Still highly suspicious and having read other reviews where they had been dishonest about work needed I took it to a friends very reliable mechanic for an honest opinion. I got that done yesterday and discovered that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. No engine seals needed replacing, no oil leaks and spark plugs fine. The mechanic added comment that even Manakau Nissan was lying about spark plugs not being changed causing a problem. The Nissan spark plugs are good for at least 100k and my car had done only 86k. The mechanic said they were obviously just trying to "grease me" for work not really needed.

This place is an abomination and none other than practising unlawful and dishonest business practices. I have laid a formal complaint with the commerce commission I urge others to do same with similar experiences. If your lucky enough to read these reviews before buying a car from them, please save yourself a lot of time and stress and go elsewhere.

THE WORST SERVICE AFTER SALE EVER! Got message about the Recall, call them and booked, no one make a contact until after two month I call them again to check, the service department lady called Ab****was so rude, I told her I want to check what happened for my booking and can she check with my plate number and she said: THERE IS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR PLATE NUMBER, HAVE YOU MAKE APPOINTMENT OR NOT! I said I did, and she said, if you did, why you didn't come in. I said because no one contact me to come and was been waiting.because been told need to wait for the parts to be delivered! Anyway, Not going to deal with this people anymore, can't believe such poor customer service!
