Michael gapes is a terrible business owner.yells at employees, finger in face and all for small mistakes, learn how to treat employees before dealing with customers.

Prompt and friendly service. Car had been washed when I picked it up after servicing. Detailed report given. Good job all round.

I've used this dealer for servicing from time to time over the years.
Previously happy.
Not happy this time as:
1. They inspected and disassembled suspension to report wear but when I didn't go ahead as quoted $1350 to install two lower ball joints ($95/ea trade from TNZ), they never re-aligned suspension, resulting in wearing 2x 1000km old tyres, in 2000km then denying they touched suspension on the basis they didn't install new parts.
2. They rebuilt rear differential for $1500 (worn pinion bearing), backlash problems from pickup after warming oil up, 2000km later is howling like a wolf.could have got a NEW head off trademe from Kaspa for $1300.backlash and preload not setup properly. They are going to "look at it" - 2yr warranty.didn't last 2 weeks.
3. They got broken into with no CCTV on customer vehicles and left my vehicle UNLOCKED that night, weird stuff taken; am expected that my insurance to cover and me to pay the excess ($500)

So, for $1500+$100 (for suspension check) ; two tyres at $199 plus a wheel alignment $100, insurance excess $500 for: no dome/interior light, no ashtray, a missing nut off my jack, scratched steering wheel emblem, two lightly dented panels, a misplaced lock-nut costing $80 to remove wheel nuts and a lock-nut set to buy ($50?), and two covers for rear light.might have forgotten some stuff.but $2700 all up.

The resultant vehicle now has the howl back from the diff but also lash-back which wasn't present before (when warmed up), I also have 2 worn tires that were near new and all these scratched/damaged and missing parts. But they will have a look at the diff.should have gone to a gearbox specialist.

And they still want to argue about if they took the suspension apart when it clearly has rubber grease between the noisy bushings. Awesome!

I have my cars first service here at manukau was really bad. Since than i hve couple of issues in my car which i never use to have Not even cleaned properly from inside. Dont recommend anyone this branch.
