Emergency callout for major leak. First serviceman needed backup so then dealt with Shane & Steve who delivered prompt and proficient service. Problem solved quickly with no further concerns.

Cannot recommend these guys more. Our gas hot water system broke a week before Xmas. We contacted them and they came out the next day. The entire system needed replacing. They squeezed us in 2 days before Christmas - they were absolute life savers. The other companies we contacted were ‘too busy’. Without Nathan from plumbquick coming to our rescue, we would have been with no hot water for over a week at Christmas with 3 little kids in the house.

Best service ever! Wouldn’t use anyone else now.

Great Service by Kane (plumber), fixed the leak. He did his best to tidy up the driveway as the leak was under cobble stones. It is always hard to put the cobble stones back in order but he did his best. Highly recommended

Note: I did not know about the payment, as informed you have to pay right after the service as all plumber carries Eftpos machine in their vans or otherwise you have to provide your credit card details for them to charge later.

Wellington - appallingly bad, booked a confirmed appointment. No show, I phone them ask to why - plumber out at an "emergency" and wont be coming out today (maybe something do with it being late Friday afternoon and sunny?). Shame they couldn't be bothered calling me first. Avoid this business.

To much to type but to cut it short: 3 months of high gas bill. Told by gas provider to have Inspected. Plumbquick (wellington) showed, apparently 3 gas leaks, all 3 leaks were repaired and while I was at work, the plumber wanted my wife to pay by eftpos for fixing leaks. Total was $1095. My wife called me before paying and I told her not to as I wanted to inspect the work he carried out (I was a trainee plumber/gas fitter at the time and now currently a licensed gas fitter /plumber).
Once I got home, here I inspected the areas he fixed to see no pipes were fixed at all.

Here I followed up on this and had no return calls until I threatened court action against him and he called apologizing for a faulty machine so charged $200.00. Here I required a gas cert but had to get this from auckland. When questioned why he couldn't give it, I found out he wasn't a licenced gas fitter. This would have voided my insurance if something went wrong.bad move plumbquick. Some people say it's the individual that let's the company down but please remember, you employed that individual

I wouldn't recommend or use again. Had a blocked drain that was pressure wash cleared, the young guy noted that there were roots causing an issue. Rather than sort the roots, I was charged $227.60 for a giant poo to only reappear out thr drains the very next day! When I called I was told they could come back for an additional hour and clear the roots, and it was usual for this to happen? I used Drain Doctors instead, they were awesome, timely, and cheaper and more knowledgeable and interested in doing a great job!

Had used Quick Plumb a few times and they are great. A bit pricey, but for good plumbing, I think it is worth it. All my leaks require ripping walls and they do a very professional job. Used them 3x times all after hours and are big life saver. One visit, they offered a patch fix and do the full fix during business hours to help cut cost.

Definitely would not recommend. I normally wouldn't post a review but I felt that the initial plumber sent out to review a leak was not only incompetent in diagnosing the leak, but dishonest as well. The tenants in the rental property were made to feel that they were at fault for the leak (ie splashing water everywhere), rather than diagnosing the actual leak which was inside a wall. Had to challenge an extra 'hour' of charges on the bill, plus when I phoned to complain, the accounts/reception lady was not interested in mitigating the situation, and was rude and unprofessional in the process. What a shame, as I had used them for another rental property just a few weeks ago, and that particular plumber was great and efficient, but obviously it is not across the board with all their staff.

Had a shower mixer replaced which cost retail 134.00 to $ 150.00 but was charged 257.39 plus gst More than double and 128.00 call out and one hour labour for the job and was not on time would definitely not recommend wellington:

Ronal from PlumbQuick came to install the water line connecting to the fridge freezer. He provided a courtesy call to confirm he was on his way, and provided great service - full of useful advice, and options that we could work with such as retaining our bench water filter as well. He was a pleasure to deal with and I recommend him to anyone requiring plumbing services.

We have had a number of plumbers through our commercial property and none have been as professional or reliable as Kane at Plumbquick. Always manages to turn up the same day we need him and do an outstanding job. Thanks!

Worst experience ever! Do not recommend to anyone. Wellington

So we have this leak in the garage floor which needs to be investigated. The first plumber (Alex) came in on a Friday, punches a couple of holes in the wall and said he couldn't find the source of the leak. He suggested using dyes and thermal imaging to find the source of the leak. However, left in a hurry within 30 mins of having started. In hindsight, I doubt he had much idea of what he was doing.

Fearing a serious leak, I called up Plumbquick again on Friday to book an after hours job to be completed on Saturday. While confirming the job, they said that the plumber will be in touch around 9 am on Saturday.

The plumber calls 2 hours late and the first thing he mentions is that there is nothing he may be able to do. Without even seeing the issue, he made a wild guess that perhaps some pipe beneath the garage floor may be leaking and he wont have the time to fix it today since he was the only person in whole of Wellington and had 5 other jobs lined up.

Despite being told that its a leakage in the wall, he insisted that he didn't have the time or the tools to fix the problem. On being asked why, he simply says "THIS IS NEW ZEALAND! " I wonder what this has to do with anything?

Any customer would expect the trades person to have the right tools, knowledge and an attitude to help the customer. Unfortunately, all these qualities were missing in their 2 plumbers I've interacted with.

Would never use them again.

Peter Howard is just amazing. He found our leakage in just a few minutes and solve the problem as much quicker. Excellent manners and helpful. Really far and beyond my expectations. Tks a lot!

Very pleasant to deal with.

Clear communication about timing of the visit and suggestions for solutions to leaking Incinkerator and tap and not the dishwasher as we had thought.

Prompt repairs and invoicing.

They came on time worth one STAR.

"unblocked" my kitchen sink which was still blocked after a day. Regardless kitchen wasn't used since they said "unblocked and tested".

Call and ask them to come back have a look again. They said they don't work on Saturday and Sunday, but website site says available 24x7.

No one bother to call and follow up my incompleted job. Only keep calling to ask for money.

I will not use them again and will tell all people I know to avoid them.

Contacted them over the new year holidays.
Was quoted stat holiday and normal prices and as it wasn't urgent was happy to wait another day.
Kane was awesome. Neat, efficient, advised options and did checks other plumbers had never done when fixing a similar issue.
