88 Lovely barmaid.
Good music and atmosphere.
Beautiful view of Skytower and loghts from the city
Waited in line for 20 mins to get served before I voiced my concerns that others were served b4 me that, the manager Martin's reply was that it was busy, i cam understand that but when all the white people get served before it gives food for thought on why you spend so long waiting and others get served str8 away
Fantastic as always! Super friendly staff (except for one guy that seemed like he did not want to be there), great selection of drinks and good food. Always a fun place to start the night:)
We always have the best time at Sweat Shop. Food and drink are always top notch and the staff are lovely too ️
Fantastic venue, food, staff - was a great evening for our conference dinner in the Velvet Room, yay, well done team!
My 4 star rating is as a pub. I would give 3 stars if rating as a restaurant. Don't pick Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen if you are looking for fine dining, but if you looking for a good pub meal with good craft beer selection and a good lively vibe in the city fringe then Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen is definitely a good option.
This is Sad, me and my girlfriend can't entry because the "code dress" this is insane. Because we not use bad clothes or fliflops, just the jeans from my girl friends was torn. We lose the birthday our friends. Bad experience!
Good was absolutely delicious, staff super friendly and live music was really good
Will definitely go again
I’ve had experiences in my visits to sweat shop.
The food is good for pub food and price isn’t too bad however am not the biggest fan of sharing smokers air outside.
My partner got bounced for having ripped jeans. Classic Auckland power trip bounces/ owners, need to check themselves there are better ways to curate your clientele other than the way they choose to express themselves.
We had an absolute blast at Sweat Shop, we did their hens do package and it was so worth it. The cocktail class was amazing and so was the Burleques class too. We were well looked after and had great communication the whole time. Would love to do it all again.
Wierd bar. Seems like they aren't interested in selling you beers just like people being there I guess? Haha
Had a great evening with friends, the smash burgers were epic and we were loving the Sweatshop IPA
The Fat Daddy Burgers were off the chain. Hopefully it can remain on the menu! Quick and easy service too.
We held a 30th Birthday here and the staff were so accommodating during red light restrictions. The venue / food and drinks were all great. Organising through Head Office was also a breeze and Belinda was wonderful.
Our only downfall was this one pushy security guard who told us we all had to leave at 11pm, despite being open til midnight: (
Mixed experience. Good, well priced, prompt food n drinks. Platters ideal for groups. However didn’t enjoy sharing smokers air and felt a bit lax on covid practices.
Cool spot, and nice staff.but the buttermilk chicken was just okay, kind of bland not spicy or flavourful. And the tatziki sauce I'd an odd combination with southern food. Also, there was A LOT if unused space but we were crammed yogether like sardines. Also, sharing space with smokers feels very 2000 and pretty jarring and yuck.
Overall, not bad, just not great.
Hosted my 21st birthday in the Velvet Room. The staff were super accommodating and Belinda was extremely responsive. I couldn't have had a more perfect birthday.
Just wanted to share some love for your service yesterday!
Our waitress was so lovely and very accommodating for my low carb lifestyle, even asking if I wanted a side salad and lettuce bun - something I didn't know i could request! Really appreciated her and very thankful
