Massive delays (nearly 2 months), sent wrong product 2 twice and then ended up being out of stock on some items that was only notified once a call 6 weeks after order was placed. Company has some serious operational issues - wouldn't use again

If this gave the option of 0 stars thats what I would have given. The service has been very shocking tbh and Covid has just given them more of an excuse. So lucky we were in lockdown but when they open up or move to orange light they can't hide when faced with people and their concerns.brought my fridge has issues 9 months in. They say delivery issue must have damaged a part so sent another fridge. 3.5 weeks later acceptable in lockdown i think the replacement fridge arrived. But thanks to the carrier it arrived big dent in the side, feet broken by the way the driver delivered it and bak fo the fridge missing its tray.e-mailed and called on the day it arrived and they apologised (this is not their problem, but something they need to fix again) (2x delivered by Fliways and both times broken because of the freight company) Now I can't get them on the ph or via email! The acknowledge the fridge but that was it. Now i have 2 fridges sitting at my house until they can come and collect (its been 2 months) as I have now left the fridges outside.

For a company that is saying great prices i guess you pay for what you get! A pity really as this reflects on the supplier as well not showing good customers services to repairs and warranties.

Almost all our home kitchen appliances are from Trade Depot, always enjoy the valuable price and good service.

Had items delivered 3 weeks ago missing 1 tap from ordered 3 only got 2 have filled out the online form got a ticket number tried calling can't get in touch with anyone and no reply's to online form.your customer service is a joke.

Great service. Even though TD is a large company I received individual, personal service from one member throughout the entire transactions. She understood my request and communicated really well. Thanks Simonne

No one answered questions, no tracking number, no one answered the phone, only the robot said let me look it up on the Internet by myself! I don't even know where my order went! What a terrible service! Never come back! Not recommended！

WARNING:

I purchased two products from Trade Depot: a rangehood and kitchen tap, within 6 months both were broken. They've refused to back their warranty as "it isn't economical to fit it", they're words.

Be very careful dealing with Trade Depot. The service is poor and care for their customers doesn't exist. After 6 months of trying to get them to stand by their terms they've refused and I'm needing to fix the products out of my own pocket.

While Trade Depot is cheap from my experience it will cost you a lot more in the long run. I'd highly recommend using a company that cares for its customers and backs it's products.

I bought a Comfee freestanding Dishwasher in Nov 2021. I am happy with the product's quality and working order, however after 4,5 times of usage the product shows error code and stopped working. I submitted online warranty claim and got the response email from the customer care team to resolve the issue from my end and yes it worked out and the product is working fine now. Thank you Trade Depot Team.

Worst service Ive ever encountered. I purchased a vanity and other items back on the 2nd Nov, have not heard anything since. Have sent their support multiple queries but never had a reply. HAve turned up to their site in Onehunga and requested the order get delivered over a week ago as might be quicker but still not heard anything. Have checked online and says the order has been shipped but is meant to be picked up? So ridiculous and then you try calling and they say calls are overloading and cant be processed? Ive tried literally 10 times! Not happy and would encourage anyone else to go elsewhere!

I bought a fridge off Trade Depot and two years later broke the front of the vegetable crisper. Their response was first class Wendy in customer service finding me a replacement in under 2 days for $40.00. Excellent company to deal with. Impressive after sales support.

Total rubbish service been waiting on item for 3 weeks. Have called up call centre multiple times which says they will call back and never do. You know who i am get someone of senior management to call me.

Got a cracked bathtub and no returns until level 2.
Also have no replacement in stock. Also call centre there is no help no solutions no email follow up.

Got staff personal email yet MIA missing in action when trying to contact.

I'm a Bunnings fan from when it first reached NZ shores, and have literally spent 3 hours perusing every shelf and item. I went to trade depot because its appliances are cheaper, but I discovered so much more! I had no idea they also had tools, cabinets and tiles and more, almost a much as a mini Bunnings, but here's the game changer.it's nz owned and operated and hard to believe, but so very much cheaper. Example: 10 sanding discs $2 I kid you not. 4 pack Angle corner brackets $1, $1 dollar! That's mad! Earmuffs, $5.99. Honestly. And the woman that served me, so amazing, friendly, helpful. And was helping me almost as soon as I walked through the door. Go TRADE DEPOT! (Oh, but your phone system sucks)

I have bought a dishwasher from Trade Depot about 2 months ago. The product was broken which I called the company contact centre to explain the situation. After 4 conversations with 4 different agents in 4 different call (each time minimum of 20 minutes wait), they have agreed to replace the product.
With the product there was a gift pack as a boundle which I have never received. I have being calling them for 2 weeks and each time they are telling me that they will contact me tomorrow to sort it out. Very poor customer service, very poor management. I will never buy anything from this company. And my suggestion to everyone is, save your time and NOT buy any product from this company.

Waited over a month for a closet rail for it to arrive with the sales team just simply giving me the tracking number everytime I asked for an update as the courier had kept on delaying my delivery date for 2 weeks bent and once I begun to use it, it snapped.

Great customer experience. Unfortunately, the heat pump dryer we purchased was faulty on arrival. However, the team was super helpful and made the exchange process straight forward, easy and pain free. The established retailers could learn a thing of two from this, returning faulty items doesn't have have to be a frustrating experience. These things occasionally happen, and in this instance I'm happy with how Trade Depot dealt with the situation, which gives me confidence to buy from them again in the future.

Had a challenging bath situation. Struggled to get through on the phones (no wonder with the chaos Auckland couriers are in), so went in on person. Was very happy to drive all that way - totally worth it. They are doing the best they can with a massive amount of customers, their own restrictions etc for covid and the Auckland shipping delays. The guys we dealt with in Onehunga were AMAZING (I won't write the names here in case you then get asked for personally) - R and S - you guys were awesome. Then the dude at the warehouse with the light eyes (didn't know name) also super helpful. Fixed everything, helped us every step of the way, and got a great resolution. Thank you team!

Really impressed with the customer service provided by Monisha and the team. I recently bought a MIDEA P12 Flex Cordless 2 in 1 Vacuum Cleaner 450W while it was running on special. I was provided all the useful information I needed to know in order to convince myself to buy this. I must say it’s really a score and helps me get my house vacuumed in no time unlike like the old corded vacuum. I’ll come back to Trade Depot for sure should I need to purchase and other stuff. Thanks again for an awesome shopping experience!

Still waiting on an essential item that I received a tracking number for over a week ago but have been told by the couriers that it is still sitting with Trade depot who haven't given them the product. Will never order from here again if I ever receive my fridge I'm STILL waiting for
