I have purchased many items in the past with Trade Depot and have been completely satisfied, but my recent experience has left me sour, I recently purchased a large single kitchen basin, the advertising in-store and the website said the carysil sink included the waste and overflow, got it home to install and there was no waste fitting included in the box, I called the next morning to explain provided details and they informed me that yes it should have one and that it will be couriered to me immediately, I waited a week and nothing arrived. I was driving past on the weekend and decided to call in and check on the status of my delivery as we cant go on forever without a functioning sink. I spoke to a lovely young lady who then informed me that the sink doesn't come with a waste which contradicts everything I was told previously then I was told they don't have any then was asked if I would like a different one which would have been okay if it wasnt for the fact that the sink has an over flow with a metal flange which screws in place to hold it in, after showing about 3 people how this system worked and how the waste they were offering me would not work I was still offered a waste which would not suffice, giving this 1 star as they at least allowed me to take the flange off a display peice so I could at least jimmy rig my sink and overflow and even then I had to remove it myself while being told thry had another customer to serve, it was 5.05pm and more like they just wanted to get home.

Completely unsatisfied and just want my god damn waste fitting as promised, dont promise to deliver something if you dont have it I would have been happy with a call back to say you dont but no I was left waiting all week and then when nothing had literally happened as it turns out was given the run around and fob off in the store

Been on Sunday in your store. Vikas & Piyush (Peter) helped us to buy washing machine. Both of them are good service persons. Based on Vikas recommendation 2 years ago we bought dryer and working well. Sunday we bought front load washing machine and happy with that. Reasonably priced machines and overall happy. Keep it up.

I wish i had read reviews b4 i bought from this outfit.
i bought a califont that needed 3 screws to be installed and a flue to be made and installed.i got the engineer to install the flue and i put the 3 screws in.then a gas bottle had to be attached along with water in and out.trade depot want me to get a gass fitter to change the bottle each time it runs out of gas.it will never run out of gas as it doesnt ignite.this is my fault as i did not get a gass fitter to put 3 screws in and attach the gas bottle.im stuck now with a caravan with a bloody great hole in the roof for the flue and no hot water.trade depot got me, but only once.never again.
people please read all the reviews you can find concerning this outfit then go to bunnings like i withed i had.

I bought A/C Aurora including installation. The unit has WI-FI included in the price, which is awesome. The installation service was perfect, I had more complicated installation - all done nicely. Read installation conditions as only 3m distance between inside and outside units. The price increase was clearly communicated.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Terrible customer service. Was told that my dishwasher would be delivered in 3 days. Still waiting 12 days later! AVOID!

We always shop from trade depot but recently noticed dat they don't have enough staff for customer service and the pickup customer service lady is very rude n don't know how to be a customer service representative.also the waiting time at pickup place is pathetic like 1-2 hours for even 1 small item

The vanity is broken ARCO Floor Vanity 400mm - SMC Top.
MIDEA Gas Water Heater 10L LPG has missing knobs, also we were told by your staff it could be used outside when it is unable to - have the phone conversation to prove this.countless emails sent, phone calls and nothing back.
I have the items wrapped up and ready to be sent back.

First gent i spoke to in the morning said the item was not in the warehouse. Lady in the afternoon must have better eye site as she found it on the shelf. Since it was a washing machine bit hard to miss. She was very efficient and product appears after 3 days to be very good as well.

Ordered a shower based on salesperson saying it would take a week to arrive. Almost a month later and still waiting on the product.
Feels like a scam as everytime I call I get the same story, "waiting on goods to be uploaded at port" Beware of buying from this company for now!

UPDATE:

The company responded below as you can see, I then emailed them using the address provided and never heard back from them. What a surprise.
Shower has still not arrived and haven't heard anything further since handing the money over.
Definitely big problems at this company!

UPDATE:
I went into their Onehunga branch and asked for a refund which was given without issue. The staff member handled it well and was very apologetic about the issues.
Although still a terrible experience overall, the easy refund experience softened the blows slightly.

They had the best price I could find for the product I was looking for. Turned up at their store and the whole process of purchasing and then picking up from their warehouse out the back was seamless and hassle free.

Made an order on the 2nd of October online, still waiting for it. Try and contact the Auckland branch and the phone is diverted all morning to Christchurch branch. Might save a dollar with this crowd but what you get in return is endless headaches. My order before this they dispatched the wrong items twice.

Very bad experience. I bought 20 x LED lights 12watt. The box says cool white but they are yellow. Not happy at all. Can not return as well because electrician fixed it. They should have told that they are yellow not white

Terrible customer service. So slow on delivery, hardly ever answer their phones and don't bother ringing you back. Good prices/products tho but I'd suggest going and collecting there on the spot, don't order and wait for delivery, not worth the hassle. If it's not in stock, get it elsewhere unless you're prepared to wait 2 mths! Shame service is so bad otherwise would be worth 5 stars.

I purchased a toilet from them, but there is no s trap pipe in the box, no one advise me when I picked up from their warehouse.so I came back to purchase it, they only have one size p to s strap, and it is not compatible with the toilet they sold.it is really disappointed. Now I have to return everything back. Not sure if they will.give me the refund.wasted my time. Not happy at all. Bad service.

Original order sent to wrong address, I informed Lorraine about it and she said she'd get a new order sent out. Never heard back and still no order, emailed multiple times and no reply so rung up and was told it had been sent but couldn't give a tracking number. Three weeks now since order and still haven't seen any items. Very frustrating when you get no replies. Won't be buying here again.

As far as I am concerned, this is a one man band. Orders take on average 2 weeks to be despatched (for an off the shelf light switch), emails go unanswered, no-one answers phones. The only explanation is either a one-man band, or a company that doesn't care at all about their customers.

They didnt have the product in stock when i ordered it. I asked for a refund instead as needed taps quickly. Never received a refund. So effectively they have stolen from me

We purchased a vanity - there was a delay as it wasn’t in stock and we had to wait for it - then it didn’t arrive on the date we were advised- finally a month later we did get it - then after a week of having it they phone up to say that they had our vanity and would we be home as they were going to deliver it this afternoon- a bit of confusion as they (the sales people don’t answer their emails) - and we did have a bit of a problem there - as the sales person advised us to email him and he would update us if there was a problem! - all we needed was a update and if they did answer their emails all of this going over their heads to office staff and involveing a third party - wouldn’t have happened- and that’s where the confusion comes in as communication is important- also we had paid for it on the understanding that it would be here in 2 weeks but it was a month - if we hadn’t had paid for it I would have gone somewhere else -

Prices and goods are great. Myself and many others on the day had at least one item out of stock, I travelled from Hamilton so I have to come back up in a couple of weeks when it comes in. My suggestion is that stock numbers information should be known at the point of sale, I may of changed my mind on the product or made the choice to wait.

Bought a house lot of bathroom and kitchen products. After discussing options with Vikas, one of the salesmen, I realised that all of the appliances were as equally specified as some of the well known brands at very reasonable prices. The picking was a little slow but was informed more pickers were being made available in the next week or so. Overall a very impressive outfit and we will be sourcing product again from Trade Depot when we move forward with another spec house.
