Barista - Ronda was super rude. Asked us why we didnt make a reservation when we are a group of 7. And after we sat she slammed the water on our table and rudely asked we were done with the menu after just 5 mins of looking at it.

Grossly under trained in the staffing department.
Extra hot was asked for and paid for.
What was served wasn't!

Staff are lovely, coffee and corn fritters are delicious. The eggs benedict was served on an English muffin it would be better on sourdough or ciabatta.

The barista was unbelievably rude and impatient towards myself as well as other customers. I didn’t feel welcome at all. Won’t be coming back

Best food in New Zealand with the best staff who really looks after the customers and such awesome environment to b in full recommended

Good location, good food and good coffee at reasonable prices. Had lunch here, service was good, quick and a very nice cafe to be in. All you want from a decent cafe.

The customer service was horrific from the barista as she was impatient with my friend and gave her a snarky attitude and asked “are you listening? ”

Have sent an email of feedback due to the unpleasant experience there with the barista. Hopefully the owner will care enough to look at it and appreciate the feedback.

Barista is extremely rude, loud, impatient and uninviting. “Would have been nice to let us know you where coming” to a group of six. Coffee cups dirty. Very unpleasant experience In this cafe.

Awesome breakfast, great coffee, after an early morning blast on the BMW GSA1200, to road test the new fuel pump.

Lovely staff, great food and lots of choose from. Awesome little place. Really liked that it was an art gallery too, pretty cool!

Was absolutely stunned by the service here it was awesome. Went for a quick breakfast on 2nd Jan thinking it would take a while. Got our coffees minutes after being seated and breakfast just as I was finishing coffee!

Would 100% not recommend going here, very cold and rude staff, did not feel welcome, service was terrible. Were spoken to very rudely.
Coffee was nice but not worth it for the shocking customer service we received.
Very disappointed and will not be going back or recommending to anyone.

The setting was wonderful we went to a cafeteria further up Gladstone Road to find it was a eat in bakery we were looking to have breakfast.we asked the lovely staff member where we could find a place to have a cooked breakfast she told us to go to Verve that we will be well served and the food was lovely we walked in it was quite busy a lovely place with seating from the entry to the back of the building the staff were friendly the menu was a variety of food available everything. I of course had bacon/salmon eggs benedict my friend had Spanish Breakfast which was choritzo with spicy topping bacon and eggs it was lovely plus a bowl of mushrooms on the side they were next level yumm. A pot of tea for 2 which was and I decided to have a American chocolate brownie to top off my yummy breakfast

Level 2 chicken sandwich with blue cheese still the best in town. Good lattes too. Thank you Rhonda and chefs. Delicious.

Coffee to die for! Haven't had one this good in ages and were from papamoa. Portions of meals perfect, eggs bene with perfect eggs, omelette and mushroom on toast were great. Highly recommend, and the kiwi guy behind the counter making our coffees had the best vibes and quick with a laugh to start our road trip home.thanks verve, first time to gizzy and you lifted the game.

The coffee was absolutely bang on perfect.
The food was exactly what I wanted, hot, fresh and exceptionally yum.
The staff are awesome and offer on point service.
Would highly recommend to anyone who wants their first food outing to be perfect.

Would have to be the best seafood chowder I have ever tasted, delicious! My husband had the salmon and Eggs Benedict and raved about them too. Great experience.

Hotcakes and Spanish Breakfast were delicious and outstandingly best breakfast in town. Great service and coffee too.
