Really bad customer service on the floor but staff at the front desk was fantastic and helpful.

Not a great shop experience twice this winter in Napier Noel Lemming.

Approach the male staff members, they are way more helpful with no attitude!

I was made to wait 15 minutes, at the till, there was no other customers at the counter with me. Just two female staff members with their backs to me talking about what shelf to put their phones on.it was pathetic of them to say the least.

After traveling for two hours to collect an expensive item that id phoned that morning for, to make sure there was stock.
I thought these ladies were rude, and avoiding serving? They underestimated the priority of serving the customer.

Went to Buy a house lot of appliances and the guy in the appliance section wasn't remotely intereseted more interested in his phone told us to go online to work out what we wanted
but the only thing i will be doing is going somewhere else. Have bought off NL before and will never darken their door again Harvey Norman always welcome us so back there again i guess

I reviewed this store 4 years ago gave 5 stars & said excellent service. I returned yesterday. Im now altering to 1 star & worst service. Fyi Hastings got my sale today. Too bad commission is obviously not needed by team here.

Staff are unwelcoming. Make you feel like you're bothering them and they'd much rather be anywhere else. I had stopped going there a decade ago for the same reason. Nothing has changed even though there are different staff. Only went coz I had to. Insurance company uses them. I'll never willingly go there again. I don't need there bad vibe. -5

Have some laptops on display but not in stock which is annoying. Hastings store stuffed up our ipad order. And they tried to give us 2 ipad keyboards instead of an ipad and a keyboard. The manager was algood but still our experience was not upto expectations. Also felt like they rammed the there version of apple care down our throat. Overall a bit disappointed.

Very disappointed after purchasing a Belkin 10w charging station. I was told it would suit any iPhone, Samsung etc and explained to the salesman I wanted something that would charge my iPhone 6SPlus and an iPhone 11 I was going to purchase. He said it would do all iPhones! Well it doesn’t, it only does iPhone 8 and upward. What a waste of money, but I have destroyed the box etc it came in so cant return it. Staff need to be more informative of what they sell.

Disappointed in the poor service and false promises that items were in store and being delivered.

It took over 20 minutes for service in store, the team seemed to lack product knowledge and three weeks after payment of items over 5k they still have not arrived.

After waiting 2 months for a loan phone as my speaker has broken on my BUSINESS phone under warrantee.napier store has done nothing to fix the situation. 2 months and you don't have a loan phone? For a business customer? Seriously!

Great when they want to sell you something but completely unhelpful when you ask for any technical help. Any technical help needed and you have to pay for it, even a phone call!

The staff were friendly and wonderful would of been great if not that awful "assistant manager". Not going to go into exact detail but tried to lie us and then had the courage to call us rude and basically ban us from the store. We had to get something fixed for about $200. We didn't want to pay since there are cheaper options but apparently there was a fee for checking the product. The fee was around $90 but the assistant manager lied and tried to charge us the full $200. Absolutely disgusted

The website is rubbish at showing stock. Harvey Norman's is much better.

I ordered a washing machine online for collection from the Napier store. The website showed Noel Leeming had stock. After waiting five days without an update on my order's progress I called the 0800 number to find out more.
The telephone operator informed me Fisher&Paykel don't have stock for a month and I'd have to wait. I told them the website showed that NL had stock, which is why I bought from NL. The telephone operator then told me New Plymouth had stock but Napier doesn't have stock. I requested a transfer from New Plymouth to Napier, which should happen next week. So I'm waiting another week.

My issues is with the online service. A good website, for example Harvey Norman website, shows which stores have stock and informs the buyer of a cost to transferring product between stores. This gives the buyer an idea of when the product will be available to collect. The HN website is transparent. The NL website and online service is not.

I had to chase NL to get a progress report. I had to ask about stock in other stores. I had to ask for a transfer to be made. The stock transfer should have been automatic and the progress report should ve automatic. Communication is key. I will contact NL next week to find out if the stick transfer will happen.

Service was nowhere to be found. Went for a dyson vaccum cleaner, came out with an Electrolux. Counted 4 on the counter 1 sitting out the back. But not 1 person to help. Better service at the warehouse next door
