Pathetic customer service. The restaurant has no respect to the diners time. They also have no respect to the young children. Kept us waiting for 90 mins to get us a table, despite of having empty tables. In addition, they took more than 45 mins to serve the tasteless food. Definitely not worth the wait. Not recommended.

We had to stay for more than one hour to make the order the person taking the order was very rude to us when we asked if they can please take the order. Once we placed the order it took another 45 minutes for the food and the food portions were so small.

Extremely rude, no conscience of others time, zero stars. Looks like from other reviews that they treat other Indians badly. What does that say about the business.
Plenty other options. Don’t give your money to a business who doesn’t understand customer service or who is racist to their own kind.

I would give half a star not even 1 star to this business. Worst customer service I have faced to date. The main manager had no management skills and had no idea how to talk to customers. Completely rude. Such people give restaurants a bad name. The manager was completely rude when taking orders and also delivering the order once it was ready. He also missed one dish on our order. He was happy taking the money but couldn't deliver the goods. Naans were more like rotis and starters were salty.
Overall a bad experience. He also told us not to sit on the outside tables and that we will have to take our food elsewhere since they were closing soon. The restaurant was still open 30mins after we left. If you want to be in the hospitality business, learn to treat the customers with respect. It doesn't matter if TeAnau is a busy place or a quite place. All staff should be competent in dealing with customers in the right manner as well as running business correctly. If you or your staff are incompetent, get them trained up. Don't make excuses!

Sorry guy's I have to give my honest review.me and my friends ordered Nan bread's with curry's.food is extremely bad I mean no taste at all. Chicken Naan no chicken taste.so as the cheese Naan.it's just plain roti taste.and the curry's are very less potion.price wise it's cheaper but quality wise really really poor.i hope the management will look in to this. All the best

The worst service and human being ever. We went there with big group and every body ordered the Indian food. But just two kids under 5 have subway box in their hand in the group. The manager very rudely ask the kids to go out at night cz they can't allow outside food. I mean they can't allow to eat but bring the box is kind of luggage how come it's not allowed. He just said it's not my problem you go out if you have other food. What if I have six month old who need baby food. Means we have to force little one to eat curries. Ridiculous service and even the food was worst then ever. The manager didn't allow to talk to owner saying he will not pick up the phone.

We visited Radhas while returning back from Milford Sound. We ordered a couple of curries chicken and lamb and all tasted the same. There was so much food colouring and the taste was very bland. This is not how Indian food should taste like! The waiting staff was not friendly at all: (worst experience ever! One star only because the food was piping hot- the only saving grace!

Only had Veg Starters, didn't taste very well. Also cannot tell difference between Onion bhaji and veg pakora looked same. Our friends got sick after eating.

We visited yesterday and ordered one lamb biriyani which was $23. It was around 4: 30 so we were snacking in btwn our long journey as we found a Indian restaurant. This is the worst biriyani i had in NZ. We ordered medium spicy and it was extremely spicy (note we are south Indians and we eat really spicy food yet we found this too spicy For medium). The rice was overcooked and mixed with the lamb curry and looked sticky.the quantity was too little for the price we paid. Customer service was so dull. Will never recommend this for anyone.

I ordered a non veg platter and they gave me 2 small pieces of chiken and 2 small pieces of lamb the rest was all vegetarian.you get more meat in the curry dish.how is it even a non veg platter not happy at all.

Its just a kind of information: the chicken these restaurant use is frozen chicken which is cooked and kept in freezer. The taste of the chicken differs after 2-3days. I had a visit to the restaurant and ordered chicken chilly, chicken tikka masala and both these chicken tasted like taking out frozen meat out after days. I better prefer to have vegetables dishes here than non vegetarian.
Even the staff out there accepted that they keep chicken in freezer. Please try to make something much better in respect of the health concerns.

Well was pretty surprise when I got to know that given price in the menu hasn’t included GST before I pay at counter. Food quantity is not worth for price

Visited yesterday due to previous good experience but the staff appeared reluctant to provide service. They were were giving multiple excuses to return us. Anyways the order went through but Kadai and Butter chicken tasted same.

The one and only 1 place in New Zealand doesn't add gst on their menus they charge gst when I pay my bill finally.itS tricky and ridiculous

Ordered paneer masala and chicken tikka masala, both had same gravy same taste.and had added lots of food color which was all over my fingers.didn't like the food at all

I think they were short staffed but service very slow and food lacked depth of flavours. But almost worth it all for the nan bread. Very light and tasty.

Really good service, tikka starter was very good, tasty and generous portion, chicken korma was disappointing, very bland.

The food was ok but it was obvious that the chicken was cooked earlier and just mixed in with the sauces. I ordered a mild mango chicken and regretted it. The Mrs ordered buttered chicken and she seemed to enjoy it however she could tell that the chicken was precooked too. I had to mix someone of her sauce to mine to be able to eat it. The Kfc style cooked chicken was amazing though. It was dry but the spiced and flavour was great. The Naan bread was nice.

Very clean and welcoming atmosphere, malai kofta was yum, butter paneer not so good, naans are not really naan they're basically chapati, need a good work on making naans better. Good service, friendly staff
