Fantastic! The best Indian food I've had in a long time.

The daal makhani was rich and had large chunks of the spices, which is the authentic way to do it. Each bite gets large bursts of flavor. A totally different level than most restaurants use.

The chicken Tikka masala was equally good. No added sugars! It was flavored with loads of spices and onions as it should be. Could eat the sauce with a spoon!

And including the rice is respectful, rather than charging as so many places in Australia and NZ do.

Best place for Indian food in te anau. Remember that rice is served complimentary with vegetable so confirm that before placing order

Absolutely delicious, spiciness of the meal was exactly what we asked. Excellent service. Good wine selection at reasonable prices. Certainly recommend.

Quite little place. Good food. Small portions not enough for sharing. Prices reasonable given that it is in a remote location.

Awesome Indian food in a remote place. Never expected it. Very tasty food and friendly staff. Definitely gotta have it if you are craving for Indian food near te anau!

Truly excellent Indian food in an unlikely locale.all three vegetarian curries we ordered were delicious—especially the Aloo Gobi—and the service was really nice as well. We ordered "medium" spice, and it was too fiery for 2/3 of us, so beware your spice request!
probably the best, most flavourful food you can get in Te Anau.

After a long day of hiking, nothing could be better than a delicious korma, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The meals were fresh and full of flavour. The service was friendly and fast even though the restaurant was quite busy and close to closing time, although a little pricey but more affordable than most of the nearby local food. Thank you for a nice meal.

The food was ok but it was obvious that the chicken was cooked earlier and just mixed in with the sauces. I ordered a mild mango chicken and regretted it. The Mrs ordered buttered chicken and she seemed to enjoy it however she could tell that the chicken was precooked too. I had to mix someone of her sauce to mine to be able to eat it. The Kfc style cooked chicken was amazing though. It was dry but the spiced and flavour was great. The Nazan bread was nice.
