Radha's Indian Restaurant reviews
69Very enjoyable meal, served by pleasant staff. We had forgotten how much we enjoyed Indian cuisine. Sadly back home our nearest Indian restaurant is 1 hour away.
Sorry guy's I have to give my honest review.me and my friends ordered Nan bread's with curry's.food is extremely bad I mean no taste at all. Chicken Naan no chicken taste.so as the cheese Naan.it's just plain roti taste.and the curry's are very less potion.price wise it's cheaper but quality wise really really poor.i hope the management will look in to this. All the best
We are staying at Te Anau for 3 days for Milford Sound trip, later evening we visited this restaurant and the staff was very friendly and the food was amazing! Good winter meal after long day!
The food is amazing and the service is wonderful, the chicken vindoloo is the best vindoloo I've ever had. 10/10!
The worst service and human being ever. We went there with big group and every body ordered the Indian food. But just two kids under 5 have subway box in their hand in the group. The manager very rudely ask the kids to go out at night cz they can't allow outside food. I mean they can't allow to eat but bring the box is kind of luggage how come it's not allowed. He just said it's not my problem you go out if you have other food. What if I have six month old who need baby food. Means we have to force little one to eat curries. Ridiculous service and even the food was worst then ever. The manager didn't allow to talk to owner saying he will not pick up the phone.
I think they were short staffed but service very slow and food lacked depth of flavours. But almost worth it all for the nan bread. Very light and tasty.
We decided to eat here after seeing all the bad reviews from other restaurants. We ordered mango chicken and chicken tikka masala as what we normally eat in an Indian Restaurant. The food was tasty with good portions.
If you are looking for a proper restaurant to eat in Te Anau, we recommend to eat here. Be mindful of the medium spicy as it can be too spicy for your taste. Good thing we checked the previous reviews.
This restaurant is nice and clean and well laid out. The food was good but not great. Service was good.
Yum yum yum. New kid did job nice. I like. Very taste good. Big willy said he like too so I give five star for him too. I like the bushy salad curry.it taste like vitamins for me. I saved some for dog and he ate fast. Very fast so I think he like.yum.it was yum.yum.
We visited Radhas while returning back from Milford Sound. We ordered a couple of curries chicken and lamb and all tasted the same. There was so much food colouring and the taste was very bland. This is not how Indian food should taste like! The waiting staff was not friendly at all: (worst experience ever! One star only because the food was piping hot- the only saving grace!
We, 11adults and 3 children had a very tasty meal with very accommodating service (colouring in for the children) and throughly enjoyed ourselves. Well done
I like rogin joshg it tast god to me.i lik fod ver tasty.yum.would recomend.the gangly boy was there again and he do gopd servic.ver frindly boy but strange.defntly recomend.
Great night out for a large group celebrating a birthday. Ravvi and the crew were awesome as always and served fantastic food!
I ate the Rogin joshy one. I liked it much good and now my pubes are blooming like the vegetation of the amazon. I feel like alpha man so I thank you dereast owner. My ballys are big now because of the spice so I am grateful. Very tasty nice good taste so I recomend to any big kiddos.
We were on a road trip and decided to do takeaway. The vegetarian food was tasty and we loved the rotis too.
Only had Veg Starters, didn't taste very well. Also cannot tell difference between Onion bhaji and veg pakora looked same. Our friends got sick after eating.
We visited yesterday and ordered one lamb biriyani which was $23. It was around 4: 30 so we were snacking in btwn our long journey as we found a Indian restaurant. This is the worst biriyani i had in NZ. We ordered medium spicy and it was extremely spicy (note we are south Indians and we eat really spicy food yet we found this too spicy For medium). The rice was overcooked and mixed with the lamb curry and looked sticky.the quantity was too little for the price we paid. Customer service was so dull. Will never recommend this for anyone.
Really good service, tikka starter was very good, tasty and generous portion, chicken korma was disappointing, very bland.
I ordered a non veg platter and they gave me 2 small pieces of chiken and 2 small pieces of lamb the rest was all vegetarian.you get more meat in the curry dish.how is it even a non veg platter not happy at all.
Used click and collect and was ready in nit long after ordering. The meal was nice and as I like good flavour with a bit of heat I wasn’t disappointed. Will order again
