Radha's Indian Restaurant reviews
69Pathetic customer service. The restaurant has no respect to the diners time. They also have no respect to the young children. Kept us waiting for 90 mins to get us a table, despite of having empty tables. In addition, they took more than 45 mins to serve the tasteless food. Definitely not worth the wait. Not recommended.
I ordered saag chicken and samosas and garlic naan for takeaway, but unfortunately when I got home the samosas had gone missing. (So check your order when picking up.) But the rest of the food was outstanding, great flavors and high quality. Would definitely go back when I'm in the area again!
That cheese naan blew my mind. The normal entree portions are pretty small but they are very delicious. But seriously, that cheese naan is the best I've ever had. Get two portions.
The food, the service, the atmosphere, the price were top notch. I ordered lamb briyani and garlic nan cheese.they were superb and so delicious. Came to Te Anau for holiday and so happy that I decided to eat here to end my day.
Really recommended!
A very nice meal was enjoyed at Radha's. Only one member of staff to take orders / serve food and drinks however he worked very hard to provide a positive experience. Food was very tasty and good value. Some well priced child menu options too. We would definitely visit again!
We ate at Radha's on a cold wet May night and all of the food was just perfect for us.
It's delicious! But Naan is too small. I have eaten at other restaurants and think this one is smaller and the portion is much smaller, but it is still delicious. If you don’t know what to eat, you can consider this restaurant!
I recommend Cheese Garlic Naan and prawn curry!
We had to stay for more than one hour to make the order the person taking the order was very rude to us when we asked if they can please take the order. Once we placed the order it took another 45 minutes for the food and the food portions were so small.
Excellent food, was craving for Indian food after 7 days of not having an Indian dish and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. We are here for 2 more days. I'm pretty sure that we'll be going back again.
Busy night in Te Anau but the team at Radha's made room for our group of 12. Service was initially a bit slow but they were short staffed so not a problem and had warned us. Good priced beer so we had a few, entrees arrived and they were fantastic. As were the main courses. One of our group found his main a bit spicy and staff replaced it with a more suitable dish without fuss. We had a great night and were pleasantly surprised by the modest bill. Thanks for a great night.
Surprisingly, good food. Ordered the lamb brayani and ordered the hot level and it was really hot. Ordered non-veg platter and it was very filling. Platter was salty and not very good. Recommend to order brayani.
Extremely rude, no conscience of others time, zero stars. Looks like from other reviews that they treat other Indians badly. What does that say about the business.
Plenty other options. Don’t give your money to a business who doesn’t understand customer service or who is racist to their own kind.
Call me simple, unsophisticated even, but I was looking forward to a butter chicken all day. Radha's really hit the spot! Lovely food and fast service. Very reasonably priced too!
The best place to have the good Indian food & the extraordinary service from the restaurant team
Last month been to restaurant for our anniversary the food was amazing loved it. Food was very quick and people are very friendly. The quality and portion size is worthy for what we pay, highly recommended, will definitely visit again.
Had an amazing experience of Indian food with excellent service by the friendly staff, total experience was awesome
We were worried about the recent mixed reviews but would 10/10 recommend for delivery! Great service and tasty food, lots of flavour and perfect spice! Much better than your average Indian restaurant. Also well priced for Te Anau food and the delivery was quick and followed instructions. Considering how busy town is at this time of year we were really impressed with the quality and efficiency - thanks!
I would give half a star not even 1 star to this business. Worst customer service I have faced to date. The main manager had no management skills and had no idea how to talk to customers. Completely rude. Such people give restaurants a bad name. The manager was completely rude when taking orders and also delivering the order once it was ready. He also missed one dish on our order. He was happy taking the money but couldn't deliver the goods. Naans were more like rotis and starters were salty.
Overall a bad experience. He also told us not to sit on the outside tables and that we will have to take our food elsewhere since they were closing soon. The restaurant was still open 30mins after we left. If you want to be in the hospitality business, learn to treat the customers with respect. It doesn't matter if TeAnau is a busy place or a quite place. All staff should be competent in dealing with customers in the right manner as well as running business correctly. If you or your staff are incompetent, get them trained up. Don't make excuses!
We had two Lamb Curries and Nann Bread which was very good. Certainly go back again. Good service.
This is definitely our go to place when visiting Te Anau. Service is top notch, food is fantastic. Love this place!
