Radha's Indian Restaurant

The food was ok but it was obvious that the chicken was cooked earlier and just mixed in with the sauces. I ordered a mild mango chicken and regretted it. The Mrs ordered buttered chicken and she seemed to enjoy it however she could tell that the chicken was precooked too. I had to mix someone of her sauce to mine to be able to eat it. The Kfc style cooked chicken was amazing though. It was dry but the spiced and flavour was great. The Naan bread was nice.

Very clean and welcoming atmosphere, malai kofta was yum, butter paneer not so good, naans are not really naan they're basically chapati, need a good work on making naans better. Good service, friendly staff

Everything from the warmed plates, to the excellent service & great tasting food - needless to say returning three nights in a row says it all. I also appreciate the decor and the overall relaxing atmosphere of the palace.

With a wide variety to choose from vegetarian options to meat options on the menu and flavorsome dishes a great place for a hot curry in winter months. The lunch specials there wasn't much available and out of stock.

Good standard Indian fare, good vegetarian selection, generous portions and good service. Would recommend if you're craving Indian food down South!

Its just a kind of information: the chicken these restaurant use is frozen chicken which is cooked and kept in freezer. The taste of the chicken differs after 2-3days. I had a visit to the restaurant and ordered chicken chilly, chicken tikka masala and both these chicken tasted like taking out frozen meat out after days. I better prefer to have vegetables dishes here than non vegetarian.
Even the staff out there accepted that they keep chicken in freezer. Please try to make something much better in respect of the health concerns.

Had dinner both nights at Radha's when we were in Te Anau. Great food. The service was awesome. Very accommodating staff. Was really busy but all we could see were friendly smiling faces and all ready to help. Very very positive experience. Food was delicious as too

Well was pretty surprise when I got to know that given price in the menu hasn’t included GST before I pay at counter. Food quantity is not worth for price

Friendly staff, knew what vegan meant. Unfortunately naans cannot be made vegan but roti is. I had a vegan curry which was flavourful and just the right amount of spice.

Good little place in Te Anau, food was good - had the lunch special so you get Naan bread, meal and drink for about $16 from memory.

We had just driven back from Milford Sound and during the drive back got stuck amongst a number of cyclists riding from Milford Sound to Te Anau so took a lot longer than it normally would. Unfortunately we were all so hungry by the time we arrived in Te Anau I didn't take any photos of the food!

Even though it was the lunch special the portion size was good and filling. Food itself was good, I was a bit worried an Indian restaurant in a little South Island town may not be particularly good but my fears were completely unfounded, good Indian food as any in NZ and easily stands up with the best I've found in the big cities.

Visited yesterday due to previous good experience but the staff appeared reluctant to provide service. They were were giving multiple excuses to return us. Anyways the order went through but Kadai and Butter chicken tasted same.

Best Indian in town! But seriously good food and a great atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and polite and kid friendly.

The one and only 1 place in New Zealand doesn't add gst on their menus they charge gst when I pay my bill finally.itS tricky and ridiculous

Absolutely fantastic food. Really hospitable staff who were under the pump on a busy long weekend. Would definitely eat here again.

Fantastic Restaurant! Food is amazing and the service is outstanding, the staff really do go out or their way to make your experience enjoyable and welcoming. The quality of the food is great! Will definitely return when I come back.
