Probably the best resteraunt in the City. As it is out of the Invercargill Licencing Trust area, bar prices reasonable. Can handle small private parties. Well worth the visit.

We had a beautiful night at the cabbage tree last night to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. We paid a little extra to have our own private room (the sandpit). The room was lovely and the service was great. We were able to decorate to our own theme and close ourselves off from other diners which created a special atmosphere. We had a group of 15 and every single meal was perfect. Would highly recommend if you have a special occasion. Top marks to the team at the Cabbage Tree! Thank you so much
