Egmont Street Eatery

Loved every bite! Great food. Everything was cooked to perfection. Delicious entrees. But the highlight of the dinner were beef and pork - simply to die for. Outstanding service as well. For me, Egmont Street Eatery is the best dinner restaurant in Wellington, and the closest to fine dining experience. Can't wait to dine again.

I loved the atmosphere here, we were well looked after by everyone right from when we walked in the door to when we left! And the food, absolutely delicious! Can't wait to dine there again!

Get the Tempura Octopus bite. Get a few. Easily the best thing I've eaten in Wellington. Its salty, sweet, umami, a touch spicy. Its got bite, its got crunch. So balanced, so delicious.

Food at Egmont is delicious and the staff are delightful. Will be back.

Had a fantastic dining experience last night at Elmont Street Eatery. Great food and staff. Jono the manager went down the road to get me a beer as they had nothing on their list that accommodated my fussy taste. Then he made me a cocktail he thought I would like to finish off with.and he was right. Thank you to all of the staff for a wonderful dining experience in Wellington. We will be back!

Excellent really well prepared food with some inventive twists. Great service as well - up there with the best I’ve had. And everyone working there seemed happy - always a good sign. Recommended

Great service, cool atmosphere and decor and of course fantastic food! Best brunch spot in Wellington. The smoked potato and brisket hash is unreal!

Was pleasantly surprised! The menu is simple, but everything we had was amazing. Highly recommend the hash with brisket!

Can you say fine dinning, had never been to Egmont Street eatery and my first visit didn't disappoint. Was welcomed by a friendly guy, dressed very professionally, shown to my seat where I was asked if I wanted still or sparkling by an equally professionally dressed guy. The night only got better from there, food was amazing and the flavours were out of this world, always asked if another drink was needed when it was finished. Would recommend the T bone steak, 850g of perfectly cooked heaven. Was a bit on the pricy side but then again was well inline with out fine dinning restaurants. If your around the Wellington Central area you can't go past Egmont St eatry for a amazing dinning experience.

Great service. Great food. Easily one of the top restaurants in Wellington. Recently won burger on a plate and bar tender of the year. We keep coming back and everytime there's something different

My partner and I popped in for a WOAP burger on Saturday evening, and the food and service was phenomenal. We only came in for a small bite and were so well looked after. The waiter even gave us a complimentary citrus slice for dessert which was super tasty!

Food and cocktails are above average. Service friendly and prompt. Was hoping for crispy potatoes on their "smoked hash" dish to provide a bit of texture but potatoes were just a bit ordinary. Everything else was done nicely.

Over rated and over priced, the Smoked potatoe hash let say it: it's just very expensive potatoes and egg. The service is pretty bad and you wait ages to get served. So many better places to go in Welli!
