Egmont Street Eatery reviews
72Had the best pancakes I've had in my life here. So light and fluffy. The berries and sauce complement it well. Good coffee also. Also had a nice relaxed vibe to the place.
Great food and an enjoyable experience. I especially enjoyed the home made baked beans and corn bread. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Will definitely be going again.
This is my favorite breakfast place in Wellington. The best food. Great staff. Delightfully quiet in the early morning during the week.
Been here multiple times and enjoyed every visit. Every visit included a menu change and I'm constantly satisfied with the variety of menu items. Always excited to eat here.
Great menu! If you’re looking for a creative, elevated brunch experience in Wellington this is it! Fantastic food and great service!
We had great breakfast. Delicious cheese scone and my bbq baked beans were great too. You should add some mushrooms for sure.
Excellent food and service. We loved the ambience of the restaurant as well. Would highly recommend to others!
$6 side for 2 of the smallest sausages you've ever seen. Bring a magnified glass. Good coffee and thick toast.
Smallish place. Tucked away down a small side street with the restaurant area actually below street level. Some tap beers and a good wine/ beer list. Small manageable food menu.
Food and service excellent. Mains delicious but desserts don't seem to be their strong point (based on one only).
Usual pricing about $35 for mains.
We would go there again.
My wife and I are pretty seasoned diners in the finest of the vast array of eateries that Wellingyon has to offer - and ESE doesnt disappoint. From the time we happened across its elegant and chic street decor, entering its warm and inviting buzz, to savoring some of the flavoursone and exciting array of dishes on offer we remained engaged with the place and enjoyed every moment. We shared the aged beef rump and new season grilled asparagus, komhucha and a glass of our favourite framingtons which we were surprised they had - food was delicious, staff were all great, and atmosphere/lighting/decor were all nice and added to the overall thumbs up impression we had upon leaving. A hidden gem in Wellington well worth visiting IOHO.
Writing the menu on quality paper with helvetica font shouldn't give anyone the right to charge 20$ for a sandwich. Over crowded, you don't even hear your friends, over priced. Very poser/posh. In Wellington, you have much better options.
