KK Malaysian Restaurant

It has been a while since I tasted beautiful picked horse radish, the vegetarian salad here is to die for and the beef skewers with peanut sauce was the most wonderful combination I have eaten in such a long time.

For me a true delight to eat at.

Best value for money malaysian restaurant in welly. Came here with my family, including my malaysian mother and we were impressed with the quality and generous portion sizes of the meals. No frills decor but the service is quick and easy.

I've frequented this restaurant for as long as I can remember, with KK being the only restaurant I can rely on for a consistently pleasurable experience regardless of what dish I'm ordering. Amazing taste, amazing people, enough said.

Very filling portion, delicious food with very good taste especially their chilli sauce for the hainam chicken rice. The mee hoon is awesomely delicious.i will go back to KK again next time.

Love this place. Cheap but very tasty meals. The place is very small so hard to get a place to seat.

Got myself a bowl of curry laksa and fried wonton to be shared with my bf. They taste awesome! The thick curry was flavourful and decent level of spiciness (could have been a little bit spicier for me.). Would definitely come back again and try other dishes as well.

Beautiful food and a good price. A good place for a quick meal - they serve quickly even when busy.

So yum. Front of house recommended either the rendang or the laksa. Super generous portion (meat to rice ratio on point). Fragrant, and hearty. Will come back to try the laksa.

The Hokkien Mee came out quickly, was delicious and great value. Great atmosphere and service too.

Foods are full of wokhei.very authentic Malaysian food. Kids were surprised at how fast the service is. Happy dinner.

I've never been to Malaysia, but I'm sure it's a poorer place for losing the folks that run this restaurant. Their loss is your gain. Go stuff your face, you won't be disappointed.

Amazing vegetarian food and served so quickly! The vegetables were perfectly cooked and the dish had so much flavour. And great service!

A tremendous recommendation from the desk clerk at Able Tasman hotel, sent me to KK Malaysian Restaurant near corner of Cuba and Ghuznee St, in Wellington.
Very good Seafood Laksa, with prawns and mussels and nice and spicy, plus a side of Wontons. A value meal at $14 for the Laksa, and $8 for Wontons.

Food is wonderful, the people working there are really kind.if your in wellington or Auckland I consider having this for dinner or lunch

Food here was amazing. Ordered Curry Laksa noodles.

There was no laksa taste. The soup was more curry but still, the taste of the curry was really great.

Would definitely come back and try the other food here if I'm back in Wellington.
