The patient care service is by far the worse service we have ever had. It is not even measurable with a third world country. Whoever heads up this circus should know that your reception is crucial to the patient care process and that patient care and safety should be priority 1. My 2 year old had a fever peaking at 40C and shaking (we gave him the max allowable dosage of medication so needed advise), only to be told that my wife and son needed to wait in the car and a Dr will come see them. Gets a call 8min after telling her a dr will see them, then to be told by the same receptionist that the Dr wont be able to see my son and they are closing and that they would need to go to Kenepuru who as in the past 3 occasions to were again then sent to Wellington. Wellington is not around the corner. I can live with the fact that if we need specialist care we will go to wellington but surely at least have a dr look at my son and put us at ease with service. The rude receptionist is what really takes the cake. Over committing under delivering and sheer lack of empathy is shocking. There is no moral commitment to helping people and preserving life that eminates from this place. My advice, if you have an emergency or need medical help, this is not where you will find any of that. Unfortunately had to pick a star, but hardly deserves that.

Overall good, but long waits. Doctors are excellent. Well informed and friendly.
Caution with rat tests - one nurse almost traumatised my daughter then blamed it on her. But that was a one off, and since then I've insisted to do the testing.

We had an extremely bad experience this morning after my partner attempted (unsuccessfully) to get some help at Team Medical in Paraparaumu. I understand the health system is under pressure at the moment and I have great respect for our medical professionals but there was no excuse for the complete lack of common sense on display at reception. There are certainly some potentially dangerous flaws with the outpatient acceptance and booking systems at Team Medical.

I felt tricked today and Team Medical have completely lost all my trust I had in them. I went to see Team Medical for a medical certificate. The nurse said she could do it for me before no charge because I didn't have to see the doctor but when I went in today the same nurse that did me my medical certificate before said I had to see the doctor. I was confused and gave her the reason but she was adamant I had to see the doctor, I saw the doctor and said the exact same thing i said to the nurse, I thought the doctor was going to ask me more questions as to why the nurse sent me to the doctor but she didn't, she gave me my med cert and I left within 5mins of arriving into Team Medical. Now when I left Team medical I got a txt to say that I owe $95! I thought, hold on Im not owing anything on my account it must be a mistake so I called the reception she told me yes that's correct that is the afterhour charge. If I would have known that was going to be the charge I wouldnt have seen the doctor and would have gladly waited till Monday and be charged $19.50. This is why they don't have their prices displayed because they want to trick vulnerable people and rob them in broad daylight. I'm still shocked that even being a regular patient there afterhours is $95! That's not cheap! I was happy with my doctors but not after this. They lost my trust completely. I will never be able to trust them ever again after this. Not everyone has access to the internet to view prices and the fact that they charge so much for afterhours it's ridiculous, why steal from the vulnerable?

Myself and close friend required post surgery treatments, neither of us are patients with Team medical. I phoned 1st and was advised I could come in and see the triage nurse. We both found the receptionist very helpful and friendly and within 10 mins we were through to the nurse (Ruth) who prompty removed a stitch from my hand and changed a whole plaster cast on my friend with Dr Bart observing. I cannot speak highly enough of the team and service. Thank you so very much

If someone has an exemption card not to where a face mask and its clearly visible and yet you don't let them in.what kind of medical practice is that. I would have made it a negative star if I could.

I’m so very shocked and disappointed that my 2 yr old grand daughter was turned away earlier today, Saturday 25th June. She is very unwell and her whole body is covered in a very sore open skin rash, that typically could be strep related. Disgusting service. Shame on all concerned. If anything untoward happens to this wee girl you are all hokey responsible for this and her deterioration.

We went in tonight with our daughter, the nurse who was on tonight (I think her name's Claire) is always amazing the few times we've seen her over the years. Dr walker was fantastic too, very thorough assessment and management of her condition. Our little one had a very high level of care tonight. Thank you both so much.

I went to Team Medical the day before Good Friday last week. I'm not enrolled there but couldn't get an appointment at my own practice for another week. I expecting a looooong wait in the urgent clinic but I was in so much pain and so desperate for help I was willing to sit it out as long as was needed. As it happened, I didn't have to wait long at all! But what I appreciated most of all - so much so that it almost moved me to tears - was the kindness and wonderful treatment from all the staff I encountered. Ruth and Claire the nurses and Dr Aoife were absolutely wonderful; so kind, helpful and empathetic and I felt truly listened to for the first time in a very long time. I appreciated it so much, their warmth and kindness absolutely made my day, despite being in so much pain! If only they were taking enrolments right now I would make the switch in a heartbeat! Thank you so much team <3

The receptionist has to be the most unprofessional, rude woman i have ever met in my life.no people skills, cannot do her job for the life of her.belittles everyone who comes in.not the kind of person you want to interact with during an emergency.she needs to rethink her career.

This evening New Zealand and Kapiti sunk to rock bottom. The staff at this facility should not ever be allowed to work in the medical field again. I sat with my child and witnessed a horrific scene of a young family with their child get ushered out due to their vaccination status. The poor boy screaming, blood rushing down his face while his mother, shaking in fear and uncertainty was intimidated by staff. Appalling Kapiti After hours, you do not live up to the hippocratic oath and are not even decent human beings

Visited Team Medical after own practice unable to attend to my husband who had received a severe cut which needed stitches. The attention we received was second to none in spite of the fact they were so so busy Dr Christine Coulter was the only doctor on duty totally unflappable and cheerful as were all the nursing staff. A big thank you. Ten out of ten.

Rang the medical centre to confirm that the ear nurse was a drop in. Was told to turn up on the day. Waited for 30 minutes only to be told it’s by appointment only now. I had developed tinnitus and needed the wax cleaned. Not only did it inconvenience me on the day. I was robbed of the opportunity to call around and book an appointment earlier. So now I’m stuck with tinnitus for longer due to poor management of the non-clinical staff.

If I could give a zero star rating I would! While visiting the area, my best friend became sick with vomiting, abdominal pain, chills and fever. His mum and sister was advised by Healthline to take him to the nearest after hours as he needed to see a doctor. The things they were told to look out for and considered urgent was blood in the vomit and shortness of breath. By the time they reached Team Medical Kapiti (I live in Levin), he was displaying those urgent symptoms on top of what he was already experiencing. His mother was told to leave the premises for not wearing a mask, despite having an exemption. The receptionist needs to be educated on the meaning of Mandatory as opposed to a passed law. She then proceeded to ignore my best friend as he begged to be helped, saying that they were not going to help him. His sister asked her, “So are you denying medical attention? ” The receptionist then totally contradicted herself and said, “No. ”. When he became frustrated with not being heard and with also being in pain he started banging on the desk, begging for someone to help him. He ended up on the floor writhing in pain and vomiting into a bowl in front of other patrons who had become concerned and disturbed by the lack of empathy, lack of human decency and lack of medical attention. The receptionist then called the Police to have him removed from the premises for banging on the desk. When the police arrived it was only then that they asked if he wanted them to ring an ambulance.

I hear that your doctors and nurses are awesome, but your reception staff makes the service that your provide to the public, negligent, disgusting and horrific. I will be making an official complaint to the human rights commission as well as the Department of health for this inhumane treatment.

Discrimination at its finest!
A mother was belittled in front of an entire room full of people due to being vaccine free, who are we to know her personal medical choice
and who are you to shout it out infront of everyone and then not tend to the women's bleeding child! You should be appalled by this behaviour!
I'd drive into the city to be seen elsewhere, rather than watch people be treated in this manner, disgusting behaviour from so called medical professionals!

Very disappointed with receptionist. Family member went and was turned away by receptionist saying my family member couldn't afford the appointment as it was too expensive for her even tho she was happy to pay. Got turned away rudely and told to ring the GP even tho she explained that she tried to see the GP but they are fully booked this week. Very upsetting that the receptionist is turning patients away at an urgent care center.

Thank you so much Team Med.
I was treated so kindly and respectfully by the awesome staff. I didn't realise they didn't have to treat me, but all they saw was someone who needed help so they didn't hesitate. A wonderful asset in our community.

I have been in team medical couple of times, my first 2 experiences were OK I went there without appointment and the doctor that I got was very good. However I had an appointment with my GP last week, I wanted a second opinion for a chest x-ray that I had from another radiologist. And the doctor that I got wasn't sure if he was able to give a referral, he had to call the radiologist who came to the room were I was, she didn't even introduce herself and she was so rude, her name was Sarah. She told me that they couldn't take a new x-ray without the results from the other medical center with I don't quite understand but regardless her way to talk to me was completely inappropriate. And on the other hand the doctor that it suppose to be my GP didn't have a clue was he was doing, I have numb toes and he was giving me paracetamol. The whole thing was a joke I wouldn't recommend anyone to enroll with this medical centre.
