Very poor service, spent a whole night from 10pm till 5am to consult the doctor just to see what to do with a broken arm. Even if you are in the ED you'll be treated after 6hours of waiting time. You might lose your loved ones if you are taking them to the waikato district health board.

WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST
I dont want to even give one star to this hospital. This is the worst hospital i have ever seen. Even in the underdeveloped countries have better facilities than this hospital. My frnd is in hospital since 8 am in the morning. Till 3.30 no one came to see him. Moreover they advised him to stay empty stomach. As the Doctor is going to see him. But till 3.30 nobody came to see and he didn't eat anything since morning. The staff over there says they dont anything about the Dr when he will come. This is so horrible. I won't recommend this hospital to anyone. They dont value people. WORST EXPERIENCE.

Parking is an ABOMINATION- and not cheap, though wilson parking no longer runs it, but the DHB.
Too many people but thats due to elective surgeries building up whilst multiple layers of managers on expensive salaries bleed it dry.

Just another amazing experience at this hospital. 8 staff called in sick at cardiology and yet they still managed to get us seen to with a few changes. All in all a great experience. Thanks.

I would like to give the start rehab team the biggest praise for helping my mum for the second time in 18 months. The staff are extremely helpful, kind and very professional. You have helped my mum Matilda so much, and the community is so lucky to have you around. I really appreciate you all.

I come to maxifacial here quite often from New Plymouth and the staff at reception always greet me by name and are absolutely lovely. Mike and Moustapha are magician's and always have me laughing.

I had to visit the Menzies Building for day surgery. My appointment was on time, the staff I met were fantastic, caring and calming; the only negative was trying to find parking, which according to the nurse is always difficult after 9: 00am

Just not long got of Waikato Hospital after having major Surgery to Remove part of my liver, with Tumor attached.
Coming from Whanganui Hospital referal having to go to waikato Hospital was daunting, but once going to waikato Hospital pre surgery visit I found waikato Hospital Staff very helpful and friendly and pre op appointment easy with systems they have in place I wasn't treated like a number but more like a person. Thanks for that
My oppointments with all who were going to be involved in my operation right up to the Surgeon was reassuring.
A few weeks went by and with the glitches in the System an appointment became available for my operation early than expected, we went next morning Surgery again Staff explaining what would be going to happen, after 5 hours later Surgery a success Tumor and over just half of my liver removed, a bit sore and into recovery Brilliant Staff I spent A few hours, then into main ward where a spent a recovery period of a few days.
I Would like to Thank everyone involved to make my operation possible and Successful. A Very Special Thank you to Mr Walsh and his team.

They must get a lot of complaints because they take a long time to get back to you. I am still waiting for feedback from a complaint I filed nearly 18 months ago. They say they will get back to you in two weeks. What a joke. Communication 0/10.

Went in for septic arthritis in my finger joint. Sat around for 4 days in a hospital bed without any IV antibiotics and no plan. I've been treated twice for this in Wellington so I know the drill
Doctors don't want to work, staff are junior with little supervision. Feeling very let down by our health system at the moment!
What a joke Waikato sort your inefficiencies out before someone dies!

I would like to record my appreciation for the way the surgeon, Mr Ajay Sud,
treated me prior, and during the procedure.
His sense of humour and demeanor must be a great comfort to patients who are nervous -assisting nurses were also very professional.

A great service provider.
Dont hold your breath trying to find (free road side) parking as the chances of it are challengingly slim but not totally impossible, payed parking is easy (generally), and layout inside building was well mapped with colour directional areas for ease of finding the service required.

Finding a car park is difficult. One suggestion is to have someone drop and pick you up later. Otherwise all good
